So glad to see another chapter! Though I may need to go back one or two since I can't quite remember the events leading up to this one.

I really hope this story gets finished, it would suck not knowing how it ends after following it for so long. x_x Even if you could wrap it up for us in a couple chapters that's better than no ending at all. Definitely.

So the Turtles meet the Children of the Phoenix - and definitely not in the fashion that I imagined that they would. This chapter makes things a lot more interesting, especially as to just much of a mutant Phoebe/Phoenix really is - without any of us the wiser. Nice twist!

This second chapter brings the plight of the main characters to the forefront in a truly human way, and really sets the groundwork for the rest of the story to come.

Oh my goodness! I just finished binge reading this story, took about a week! I'm absolutely OBSESSED with it!
I LOVE all the spiritual and supernatural elements here, and how thoroughly you delve into the lives of other mutants! You've seamlessly woven your universe into tbe show canon and made all the interactions between the turtles and their friends so completely natural that I find myself wondering how I missed these adventures in the show!

I'm also obsessed now with The Phoenix! What an amazing character! I can't help but feel she is still a developing character who has VERY spectacular things yet to happen to her, and I'm EXTREMELY intrigued with the interest and ties between her and Splinter. Also LOVING getting into Splinters POV! Excellent job tackling that. Your take on his personality and impressions, as well as his internal struggle with his desires, responsibilities and his sense of self preservation and guilt is spot on in my opinion!

I got turned onto this story because of lydja-chan's story, Ferreting out the Truth. I'm beginning to follow your collaboration on Tumblr (Nuturing Flame), but figured out quickly I needed to read this to find out who Phoenix is. So glad I did! I'm having a blast in this universe and am looking forward to it's continuation!

Ugh, my heart hurts! It was so painful when this happened to Splinter in the show, now getting his POV of it? Poor papa rat!

As for the misadventures in garlic harvesting for the boys, you could just FEEL their rage about what's being done to Medusa. Manipulated and mistreated, all when she's out of her mind to know better, what a horrible fate for the kind person we know her to be. Glad they got a bit of payback, though not nearly enough... yet. Thanks for the update, you are fabulous!

Another awesome chapter. At least the boys got out of that scrape though they have no idea what's coming next for all of them. Nicely done on this. I'll be eagerly awaiting an update.

Awesome chapter. I loved how you weaved quotes in from Clash of the Mutanimals with this chapter. I agree that Raph does need to learn some manners at times. Nicely done on this. Sorry I missed this chapter before.

I imagine you must have a lot of people entered in your draw, with so many chapters in the story. It's probably a huge book too. Does it have a pretty cover? I'm just curious because you're the first person I've seen to offer a prize like this, I think it's pretty cool. Did it get more people to review? I wonder if other people will do draws like this now? Imitation is supposedly the highest form of flattery, lol. I just see it as people copying a good idea. :)

Uh...what? Is that Phoenix's thoughts? If so...she definitely seems confused and more than a little lost in multiple people.

Oooh, I can't help wondering what will happen in the next chapter to start a new 'book.' It's been on my mind since the countdown began.

My wishes for upcoming events is that the Phoenix's mind gets fixed and Medusa gets rescued and unmutated. I can hope can't I? Lol.

Sometimes its the moments of inner reflection that make this story so enjoyable!

Splinter examining the scar he left on The Phoenix: we get this lovely moment of him not only being alone with her, but alone with his thoughts about her. Thinking back over his inner demons and how much it takes for him control his animal impulses. How it weighs on him that his lack of control has marked her. Seeing how her role as a healer looked through Splinter's eyes was also a wonderful insight.

The Phoenix's discourse on kindness: I think that whole section is a wonderful moral lesson. Frankly something that a few more people in this world could take to heart. Cause kindness IS important. More specifically to her character, it shows how this belief has fueled her personal growth and shaped her decisions.

The hard line that you show at the end between the way two lonely people choose to tackle their inner hurt was great. It shows how the way we choose to react, and not circumstances themselves, determines the path our lives can take.

Great chapter, eagerly awaiting where this story will go next. :)
