things get a bit incoherent in the basement scene, you might want to clear things up

props to the tin man for his wise council, and the banter between spike and thomas is well done

well thats the exposition dealt with, and we know where buffy landed in the timeline, hopefully morgan wont show up and send things spiraling out of control, is it possable that dresdens weird vibes are due to that she's alt him, or at least alt murphy?

Hmm, Harry did a good job playing the wise wizard this chapter. And found it oddly satisfying to see him helping out Spike like he did.

Lastly, it may have been a small scene, but I also enjoyed seeing the three wannabe villains get punished at the end... they're not even really evil I don't think, just so dang petty.

Please note that even a SMALL scourge of Black Court vampires is a nightmare fight in the Dresdenverse, unless you've actually got their designated Banes on hand.

I believe it's running water that washes away magic, not rain water. In the first book Harry pulled off that lightning spell redirecting spell to kill the demon in the rain after all.
Unless of course that there's so much water that the graybeard is completely flooded. But if so I don't think you got that across.

I both want her to come back for a confrontation with them, while simultaneously wanting her to never return to deal with them. Love the chapter, and I'm super curious as to what Buffy is thinking through all of this! XD
