I have been catching up with this fanfic and I re-read it every time I'm in the Daryl X reader feels

On one hand - I'm getting super aggravated at everyone for being nasty/un-trusting towards Terry for something that is entirely NOT her fault. Like, when faced with a true psychopath you just smile, nod and agree with them. Especially when they have 50 other psychos surrounding you with guns.
On the other hand - it's super in character for Rick AND Maggie both to have seriously selective memories and wishy washy actions when it comes to stuff they don't actually want to deal with/take responsibility for.
(Ex: Rick...well...everything. And Maggie at the end of Season 8 where she just stood there and whined and cried cause Rick didn't kill Negan. I watched that episode like, "...girl you have a GUN. And you are a good shot. Why aren't you just shooting him?" - followed by, "We're going to make Rick regret this. Grrr.")
Terry said from the get-go that she was iffy about the whole "Let's go murder people in their sleep" plan and how she first semi-encountered the Saviors/Negan. She THEN told Rick straight up what happened to her when she literally first met Negan. But because Rick didn't want to deal with (another) one of his plans falling through suddenly she "knows" Negan and it's her fault Glenn is dead?
And Daryl's snippy-ness? I'm gonna hope for that boy's sake that it's just a by-product of fever/pain.

It's been a ride reading all of this, and I love the new direction you've taken the story. It'll be interesting if the community/alliance will be able to pan out, especially now that the Kingdom is weakened. Please keep up the good work!
