This is so bittersweet. It's nice to imagine that they find each other afterwards, knowing how the war ends. I feel like Draco's relationship with his mother isn't explored as deeply as it could be in canon, and it makes so much sense that it's what is driving him forward. I also love how it starts with Hermione ranting about school because it feels so normal and it's crazy to think they were able to do schoolwork while being under all that stress. Also I now wish I had tried to slip some things into my high school papers. It's hilarious that no one ever said anything about it to you. Thanks for this story and for continuing to write amazing works of art.
