Loved it! Bob was outstanding, and like you, I was horrified by the TV Bob being an actual ghost since I did start reading the books first. But I thought the ghost, as written, would have been underwhelming whilst Bob, excellently done by Terrence Mann, was a good necessarily visual option. They got the snark right, for sure. Your writing style and approach, not unstinting on the sidewise humor, was perfectly after the style of writing Butcher uses which make the stories so very amusing so I applaud that, as well. Thank you for the very entertaining story and if you want to do another or carry on...please. Don't!

I'm a avid fan of the book-verse for Dresden Files (actually been on huge DF kick recently), not so much the tv-verse (just not enough exposure), but after seeing the title of this (and recognizing the Discworld reference) in your archive I could resist reading it. While Bob is not the Bob I know (who can definitely get annoying) he's still pretty entertaining and the rest of the fic was just plain fun, I have to wonder: since I didn't see the show, did you take the Ectomancer concept specifically from Lindquist in the books? Or did you just borrow the term for an idea you were working on separately?

That was actually the cutest thing ever. I loved it so, so much. This made me so freaking happy, you have no idea. I'm just filled with a smiley, bubbly feeling. Bob is my favourite character, and I absolutely LOVED the way you portrayed him in this. I loved it! Please update it! I would love to read more :D

It wa a nice story. I read some of the books and like it but I was disappointed that Bob was not a ghost like in the show. He is the best !
