Poor robin but whenever he gets kidnapped it makes a great story

Im honestly not that made with your hiatus as the story ended on a great note. A least it wasnt a cliffhanger!

I'm just slightly annoyed over the breakup that already happened since I totally ship Chalant, but hey that's okay as long as there's no Dibs. The only way I will ever see that "ship" is in a sibling-like way

It's Deathstroke... he is like, the most over-used "master/mentor" to Dick when he's kidnapped. Like seriously, poor Dickie just can't escape him even in the fanfiction world.
And that Batfamily moment was super cute; Tim never speaks his thoughts like that and I thought it was about high-time he did so, especially if it means they have some family time ;)

Dick with a buzzcut? Horrifying.
Bruce with brown eyes? W-H-A-T. Bruce and Dick have dark blue and ultramarine blue eyes respectively, Jason has like green-tinted blue, Tim has steel grey and Damian has turquoise.

Mwahahahaha well, Infinity War did something right, then. It got you to write.
It was a good chapter, too. I reread the chapter before just to refresh my brain, and honestly the change in writing style didn’t seem too drastic. You’ve obviously improved, but it wasn’t apparent that it had been…you know…a while since you’d updated. Which is good, some stories you read it, and you can TELL that there were gaps between the chapters. Also I think you actually showed me the first bit of this chapter at some point ‘cause it felt familiar lol.
I like the way you wrote Tim and Jason’s reactions. It felt realistic but not too over the top, which is a trap many fanfic writers seem to fall into, ugh. I also loved the way you wrote Artemis and Dick’s interaction at the end (their friendship makes me happy). Quick question, is that the last chapter then? It kinda felt like it, but I could see you adding a bit with him actually being Nightwing. You didn’t say it was the end so idk.

I periodically check for updates on this fan fiction and was so excited to see that there had been one! One of my best friends and I bonded over reading fan fictions together and the night we really became best friends was one where we stayed up late reading some and I showed her this one. I’m so invested in the story and it holds a special place in my heart, son I hope to see another update soon!

Ah! So THAT'S what I missed while I was gone. I see you covered the loss of the Marvels (although, they stuck out like sore thumbs in that mess of a mourning team) and I actually really like the way you ended it. It sounds just like Rob to return from the brink of death by exploding out of his bed and running straight into Batman. XD I also enjoyed the bit of bonding between Artemis and Barbara, though they are currently depressing half-grieving-half-mourning worrywarts. No surprise there, given the situation.

Thanks for the post. I cried along with Babs. She was hysterical in a good written way...Jim Gordon sometimes really feels as if he knows the Bat secret and just responds pretending like he doesn't and he made such a great comment. Dick is a fighter. Gave hope to Barbara and made the chapter theme just feel alright. Dick will live...but what about his emotional state after this and what will lead him to become Nightwing?

Ooookay. Tim feels, Batman feels, Barbara feels and also the image of Gar as a cat with his tail curling in front of his eyes is both depressing and adorable.
I loved the Barbara POV. When she mentioned Artemis being by Wally waiting for him to wake up I couldn't help but wonder—is Batman in the infirmary place (blargh english can't remember what they call it) or is he outside? And if he's outside, why would Artemis be in there by Wally when he's not? Or is Wally not in there either?
Just confused me for a moment.

Pick one. I think I at least saw both ok and OK in this chapter (probably typo). I prefer "okay" because it's more pleasent to my eyes and seems more correct (for instance it's more commonly used in books and I hate reading ones where ok or OK is used) but you can use any one of them if you prefer it.
Also, everyone keeps talking about Batman but did Superman leave? I could've sworn he and some other League member was there to chase off Deathstroke but they haven't really been mentioned since the last chapter when it said something about Superman being smart enough to give Batman some space.

Anyway, wonderful chapter, terrified/griefstricken team, Jim Gordan is amazing, etc. and I'll make sure you write tomorrow.
