How about when Don tells Raph to let him be the 'badass' for once? XD Ohmigosh I laughed so hard in the movie theatre at that, alongside the creepy 400 lb middle aged man wearing a TMNT shirt. He and I were both obviously turtle fanatics and knew all the inside jokes that were made throughout the movie, but I still tried not to look him in the eye... anyways...

Yeah, that scene could be interesting to read about here, but I don't know if you're up to that task or not. I think you did a pretty great job at portraying Mikey, and I didn't notice any spelling or grammar errors. ;)

My. Mom. Sings. THAT SONG! I hate, hate, hate it! Only because she would do it on long drives when we were little, strapped helplessly into our inescapable car seats. He gleeful, annoying voice rings in my ears to this very day, almost twenty years later. I'll get her back one day. Oh, hoho! WIll I ever get her back for that torture!

Still enjoying this story. I am interested to see your take on how the turtles function after their rescue given how much blood they've lost. Also, I would love the scene on the snowy mountainside where Donnie tells Leo to let him be the badass for a change.

Could you maybe, in a chapter, put some of Leo's pov into it? I'd love to see his thoughts on Don and Mikey's conditions and his remorse and his thoughts about Raph in this situation...

This chapter turned out great! I really like your take on Donatello's state of mind while succumbing to his body's response to blood loss - shifting from lucid moments to those of rambling thoughts. He is still being himself to the last by crunching the numbers and trying to logically process what is happening around him. Love Donnie!
The description of the physical symptoms of dizzyness are spot on as I can personally attest to, especially the 'sound' you hear just before you feel like passing out. It's weird and not something I ever want to revisit but won't soon forget!

As for Mikey, hmmmmm, all I can recall of him in that scene is his line of something like, "about time bro" referring to the arrival of Raph. He is still trying to be lighthearted as usual.
Perhaps your previous setup of him being fearful of Donatello's weakening condition by thinking back to a time when he blamed himself for an injury Donnie suffered could be something to play off of at some point?
Maybe Mikey has teased Donnie for having a slighter build or being the nerd that he is (?). I think of Michelangelo as being soft hearted and despite being the clown/doofus of the brothers, possesses a high emotional intelligence. The scene in the 2012 series TMNT episode, "Invasion" where he hugs Raph after they witness what they think is the demise of Splinter is heart-wrenchingly tender. I gets me right here 3. Sigh...

If you feel up to continue the POV's of Leo, et al for each scene, by all means, please do! There is no such thing as too much turtle goodness! XD

I think you should continue with say, an after shot of when they get back to the lair and have it all fixed and they can finally relax but Leo and Mikey corner him and ask how or why.
Or maybe Leo tells Mikey the whole hand signal moment they had and they tell Raph and maybe they all collectively agree to give him whole boxes of pizza and maybe Raph and Leo force him to extra training to bulk him up incase this were to happen again. And Donnie is so confused or something along those lines.

Yay, April to the rescue! I really do love your Donnie POV. Can't wait to get on with the action!
