MelXwp chapter 34 . 7/18 I've just re read the entire series and I have to say that I love it, all of it. I love your characters and the plot and your writting, I love basically everything about this story. I really hope you finish it one day but I just want to thank you for writting and sharing it with all of us |
7serotonin chapter 5 . 6/24 I'm gonna tear up. I love Mordin so much. I love how you wrote him in this chapter, and I love that he gave a speech about patient consent. He's just so precious and important... Especially to Shep when she's trapped with Cerberus in a body she doesn't trust |
debblu chapter 34 . 3/30 I really hope you will find it in you to finish this exceptional work. I've truly fallen in love with your damaged but honourable Shepard and her patient love Laira. You have given Nicky such a unique life story and there is so much more to learn about and from the Red Dragon. The twist you have put on the ME storyline and familiar characters has made such and interesting world where none of the crew are predictable, you have truly own this series and made it your own. |
Ase Of SpADeZ chapter 34 . 10/31/2019 This story is soooo good. I wish you would come back but I understand that interests change. Good luck in your current endeavors, whatever they are! |
nomuse chapter 2 . 5/25/2019 Loving it...oh, and thank you so much for killing Kai Leng in the first chapter. Off screen. (Now if only you could take him out of ME3). |
K chapter 34 . 1/27/2019 Finally made my way through this second part and... wow. I love it. I think my favorite part is the way you chose to render Renegade scars - it fits perfectly in-world and integrated so well to Nicole's character. The scene with her receiving her brother's will was also incredibly powerful. And of course I love the slow-burn-but-not-really between her and Liara; their feelings are never in doubt, but the careful negotiation of their relationship and its progression still takes time. It feels real and deeply empathetic. Gorgeous work and an amazing demonstration of dedication. Thank you for sharing Nicole and her story with the rest of us. |
pierrafeu chapter 34 . 11/27/2018 I read your story all over again and loved it as I did back when I first discovered it. The universe you have created is thrilling and I like how deep and well studied your caracters are. I hope you will one day find the motivation to finish it. Thank you for your work. |
Pallan Minerva chapter 1 . 6/9/2017 A rough start. You rushed through a lot here, but I think you do that with the intent of showing what you've changed. |
Efeye chapter 19 . 2/10/2017 Don't you worry, we prefer quality over quantity anyway, and you have spoilt us with both :) |
Efeye chapter 2 . 2/10/2017 I'm glad you killed off Kai Leng, out of all the characters in mass effect, he was by far the one who felt most out of place. Not only is he annoying and not at all intimidating (the opposite of what I think he was supposed to be), he also canonically broke into Andersons apartment to eat a bowl of milk and cereal, just for shits and giggles. In a sci-fi opera that has gradually become darker and deals with mass genocide, torture, child abuse and war, that is just weird. |
NattyWright chapter 34 . 1/7/2017 I've just finally caught up on this story and let me say it is just fantastic. Words can't portray how much I enjoy reading your work. I hope this story isn't dead but if it is I completely understand. You look after yourself :) |
mollyig chapter 34 . 9/18/2016 Firstly, congratulations on your engagement. I was so glad to see an update of this story. Your complex Shep seems to be making strides with being able to engage with Liara. Her interactions with Aria and Samara were interesting, both obviously respect her. Nicole's curiosity about why Morinth does what she does; she certainly does seem to feel a kinship there. Thanks for the update. |
Riptide Monzarc chapter 34 . 8/24/2016 Another masterful chapter, with insights and exposition well beyond the usual quality of even published works. I had not envisioned Morinth a sympathetic figure, but you pull it off with room to spare, making the necessity of her death heartbreaking on a level the game cannot match. I eagerly anticipate your next outing. |
JestaAOK11 chapter 34 . 8/21/2016 I like your version of events and it's nice to read another chapter. Congrats on the engagement. |
Ophalia chapter 34 . 8/20/2016 So you're telling me that moving, an engagement and an original novel are more important than a fan fiction ? That just won't do... How much to get the ff back to the top of the list ? :P Congratulations on all of that in any case, especially on the engagement to that "special someone" ;) Back to the review: I don't remember if I mentioned it earlier but something that strikes me in your writing compared to the game is the secondary character. They are not one dimensional stereotypes. You gave a lot more depth to Morinth in this chapter than the game did. Also the short conversation between Shep and her was ... Sundering? (not sure on that one ...) I expected Nicole to be afeared of harming Liara emotionally (dangerous life and all that) but now I'm wondering if she does not fear hurting her physically as well... Again, I just to wrap both of those up in the tightest bear hug imaginable ... Anyway, good job as always and this is indicative of the quality of your novel, I will very much be interested om reading it ;) Back to waiting for the next chapter with baited breath :) |
