Ok just read this and... this was a mixed bag.
A major problem you had here was tonal issues over the entirety of the fic. You had majorly goofy bits intertwined within more "serious" bits. It went away much later in the fic but was a bother.
The plot as a whole was really thought and convoluted at the the end with a dumb explanation of the end and with the parents plot point going unexplored made it feel really thought with the parents never coming back up again.
The only redeeming part of this fic was the character and that only extended to Mabel with her internal struggle and sacrifice feeling real but her character was quite stereotypical at the start. Dipper was just a mess, not much o what he did made sense to the story or to his character.

Reading this fic reminds me quite a bit of the mixed reactions of the BL1 Vault Hunters when Mister Torgue appears in the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragonkeep DLC for BL2.

Some people will take it super serious and point out holes, others will just read it, and others will shrug and say "I had fun." I fall into the last camp.

Once again Stanley stole the show and nearly give me a heart attack. Good work!

Finally caught up to where I was last reading.

Great last couple of chapters. I really like the change of pace to Daddy Bill mode with Mabel and stuff. Hopefully she remembers things soon. But regardless still fun.

Very cool twist at the end of this chapter. That actually makes a lot of sense and if it becomes a canon detail I won't be surprised when considering the similarities.

Always enjoy this story with both Dipper and Mabel dealing with the demon changes and the whole Daddy Bill is just so much fun to read. He torments them and cuddles them. It's an interesting dynamic. The struggle of the mystery twins to try to keep a grasp on their humanity is fun to read too.

All around even though this like my 5th time reading this I still love every second of it.

I look forward to the next chapter whenever you get the chance to write it. I love this twist at the end can't wait to see where things go from there
