Rookblonkorules chapter 1 . 5/5 This is off to an interesting start! You've captured the characters accurately! |
Guest chapter 25 . 11/12/2019 Well shit. Didn't see that coming. That story was great. If you changed the names, it'd totally sell as an original. Just...maybe I was dumb to read this at night. In the dark. Alone. Now I just gotta convince my friends to read this. |
I'm a Noun chapter 26 . 1/26/2019 First of all, what a great story! I really liked it. I know I've leaving comments every other chapter showing my liking for this story, but I feel like I can't say it enough. WHAT A GREAT FUCKING STORY. I was listening to "Stand by me" by The Staple Singer on loop through this last chapter, and (I must be a masochist) I felt my heart wrench through the whole thing. Great story, great character development, great setting, great story arch. I loved the interactions of all the characters and how you kept them just like in their "original world". What I thought was heart breaking in this last chapter was one: Annie (at first, I imagined she would end up with Armin by the end of the story. What a foolish thought- they are creatures of habit after all); and two: Jean (he was an asshole sometimes, but a really good friend after all. It was too bad he didn't get to say goodbye to Armin ;-;). I liked how realistically you described Mikasa's grieving process and how she healed but never completely (I feel like it was too much to just get over it, even in a lifetime). I liked how the murders were pinned all on Kenny, but I suppose Grisha's murder was ruled a suicide after all. LOVED WHAT HAPPENED TO ROD REISS, THAT ASSHOLE. I'm happy that Carla got closure on Eren's death, the poor thing didn't have a clue of anything (or maybe she did, but not much? Hmmmm...). I feel like my comment is all over the place but I'm just remembering the things I liked the most haha. Also, loved Jean's movie, I briefly wondered if he had graduated and what had become of his project (now I'm imagining he did a little tribute for Armin at the end of his capstone, ah ;-;). Erwin and Hange, also great fucking characters, even though they didn't appear a lot throughout the story their contributions were amazing. Never got the "they" bussiness with Hange though, wish I could because it spooked me at first hahaha. Levi... Levi was just sad. But he got clousure, I hope, by saving Mikasa and having witnessed his father's dead. Kenny... I don't know what happened to him that made him so fucked up, really, and I don't want to theorize about it; he was just an asshole, let's leave it at that. Frieda was bad, but I feel she redeemed herself by the end (although she didn't comply with Armin when he needed it most and she almost killed her sister), she was the one who wrote on the wall the location of Mikasa. Also, side note: wouldn't it be a great to have a story based on "The Armin Note"? Where a police rookie tries to investigate a series of recent disappearances and he traces back to these occurrences that happened years ago. Spooky. (Don't mind me, I'm just letting my imagination run wild haha). I loved this story, really. I hope that a lot more people get to read it because it is fantastic like that. You are an amazing writter! You have an amazing talent, really. I hope I can read such well-written stories from you again. This was amazing, thank you for writing this! |
I'm a Noun chapter 24 . 1/26/2019 I had a feeling Kenny had killed Armin, not only because it was the logical course of action but also judging how he was describing his feelings at the begining of the chapter. Also, there aren't fucking good parents in this town, definetly. Sigh... it seems this doesn't really a happy ending, does it? :c |
I'm a Noun chapter 21 . 1/26/2019 Hmmmmm. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I have a feeling that if Historia dies, this whole ritual thing would end without anyone getting scathed. I hope there is other way, though. |
I'm a Noun chapter 18 . 1/26/2019 Gotta love Jean, man! What a good friend ;-; |
I'm a Noun chapter 15 . 1/26/2019 Oh my God. This was so... I just don't have words to describe how I feel about Eren's dead. THIS IS SO SAD, FUCK (I was listening to Lera Lyn's "My least favorite life" and I was crying by the end of the chapter). So a ritual? And I suppose that Armin it's next, seeing how he was marked? FUCK KENNY, BY THE WAY. AND POOR LEVI. Whose live was just a circle of violence. AND EVEN IN DEATH HE CAN'T REST IN PEACE, JESUS. This is just sad. Also, Historia having Mikasa's blood smeared on her face reminded of the time she kissed Levi's wound. FUCK ROD REISS TOO, BY THE WAY. My God, aren't there normal parents in this town? |
I'm a Noun chapter 12 . 1/25/2019 Ma'am... (or Sir, don't know which sorry). WHAT A GREAT CHAPTER. I still can't believe I'm almost at the middle of the story and it feels so climactic right now, can't imagine what's to come. Saddly, I can't read all the chapters at once and I'm reading as much as I can per day but oh boy with endings like these I just want keep on till I finish the story. Really liked this chapter because I can understand now why Eren was so persistent on Armin not figuring out how he died, AND SOME THINGS ARE CLICKING RIGHT NOW OMG. I'm assuming he did not do it on purpose (crossing fingers), and that whatever drug Kenny gave Levi to forget things was given to Armin as well. WHAT A GREAT CHAPTER. |
I'm a Noun chapter 7 . 1/24/2019 Quick comment: I just thought it was super creepy how when Hange appears, the pronoun "they" is used to describe her actions. At first I thought it was "they" as in "Armin and Hange", but upon reading twice I realized that nope, it was only her. A typo? Don't think so. Maybe I'm spooking myself? Most probably. Creepiest chapter so far, I must say. Love it. |
I'm a Noun chapter 5 . 1/24/2019 OH MY GOD. OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODD ASHASDASKJDHSJKAHDASJAS the keyboard smashing is the only thing that can truly express my feeling right now ajshkjdhasjkhdajkhsd I'm really loving this and is only chapter 5. I decided to read the manga all over again so I could remember some details that I had forgotten, and I just felt a sudden appreciation for Armin's character, I thought he was so cool. And then, I decided search for some good stories to read, found this one and OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD THIS ONE IS SO GOOD. Let me tell you, I've also been watching True Detective season 1 and your story gave me the show's vibes so I really enjoy reading it (I also discovered that If I listen to the show's soundtrack while reading, the experience gets 100% times better). I also am truly happy I found this story already finished because I cannot imagine what's like waiting after such chapter ending. Anyway, gonna keep reading but I just wanted to let you know that you are such a badass writer and your story blew me away. |
Guest chapter 26 . 1/24/2019 Aw, the two last chapters were just one big feelstrain. So many different emotions there. I don't know why, but the part that really got me was when Jean found out about Armin's death. When he asked Annie about him and Mikasa, I actually let out an awkward dry sob. Eren and Armin's "forever and ever" reminded me of Winnie the Pooh and it was both sweet and sad because they were this sort of best friends too (except with a bit of romance, according to this story; not really my thing but it wasn't that bad here). And of course the very ending. Bittersweet. Somewhat happy but at the same time sad. I felt bad for Mikasa but was glad to see her reunite with her friends' ghosts. In short, the story was absolutely beautiful. Yes, it did scare the heck out of me at times but it was totally worth the scare! :) |
Guest chapter 17 . 1/22/2019 I'm gonna be honest here. I like how the mystery has played out (at least so far) and this story is pretty awesome but this Eremin thing kind of ruins it for me. I was patient at first because of all the extraordinary circumstances but it started bugging me eventually. The boys' conversation about their relationship in this chapter felt a bit cheesy and frankly annoyed me a lot. But overall, this story still rocks! You have some mad writing skills, Author :) Can't wait to read the rest (with a small hope for no more cheesy yaoi)! |
Guest chapter 3 . 1/21/2019 (Continuation of the previous review because my phone clearly hates me) Shouldn't his hair be like, too short to make a bun out of it? Unless your Armin has a longer hair than the original Armin. Secondly, why would he wear such a girly hairstyle? Or is it more like a short high ponytail on the top of his head? Sorry, I just have a hard time imagining this hairstyle as I read. But that's literally all that bothers me (and you can tell how silly and unimportant it is), everything else is just so perfect! This might be another masterpiece of yours and I'm thrilled to read it. |
Guest chapter 3 . 1/21/2019 Oh my gooosh, it's so scary! :o This is the chapter when I slowly started connecting the dots and creating some sort of theories but WHOA, I never expected Armin to find Eren so soon! This story has been such a treat so far and it's only chapter 3 out of 26 3 There is only one thing that bothers me in this story: Armin wearing his hair in a "messy bun". First, shou |
The Electric Dragon Rider chapter 26 . 11/14/2017 I really loved this story. You put so much detail and effort in, I couldn't stop reading. This is possibly the best story I've read. I hope you continue writing amazing stories such as this one, but don't burn out your creativity, it'll be a big loss. Thank you for this, it was amazing! |
