Excellent insight into Raph's feelings and character. I find him to be one of the more difficult characters to write, and many fanfic writers make him too shallow, but this was well done. I love father/son moments, too.

I like your Splinter the best of them all. Better than the show, other ff writers, movies...their's are good, but your Splinter is my all time favorite. Wonderful job on this fic.

I'm not sure I agree here. But Raph is the most difficult for me to understand and my least favorite turtle. He has redeeming qualities and you do a good job showing how subtlety just goes over his head. And I guess since Karai only showed Leo her more vulnerable side, Raph can't change his opinion. But I don't think he was right about not trusting Karai, and that's my biggest hangup. Still, I suppose there's nothing really wrong with this scene.

Awesome little story. I loved that moment between Raph and Splinter and really feel that it explains a lot. At least Raph trusts Leo's judgment and wants to make things right. Nicely done on this.

My melting heart. I love it when we get to see Splinter being a dad. His sons require different parenting styles from him and he knows what each one needs to be soothed. He gets flack for being a bad father cause of the way the show portrays him at times but this is more like the Splinter that exists in headcannon. Thanks for the beautiful piece. _*

This was simply fantastic! I just loved everything in this story. The way Master Splinter worked with Raph was just really great. I wanted something like this to happen in the show, but unfortunately we didn't get it. But if it were to have happened, it should have been exactly like this. You are fabulous, and this was an absolutely wonderful piece!
