Yup, yup! Agreement on the whole rape vs love potion dealio! Snively IS a great polisher of potioneering. That exactitude is what is needed to create true masters of the skill. He utterly SUX at training noobs. Good, bad, meh. Chaotic Nuetral at best. The world shat on him and he favors returning in kind. If it is outside his interests, fuck it.

Interesting story. I can't say I like Snape's role much (I found the Jewish reference quite racist though)

I like the sympathetic approach to Bellatrix, not sure about the rape, though the concept of her having endured something so traumatic is one explanation for her insanity.

I do find the grammatical errors to be confusing at times e.g. The evil Hermione, had me wondering if Hermione was evil in this timeline. Consider the use of apostrophes in similar situations "The evil, Hermione..."

Very creative, I enjoyed it. Sadly I'm not in a position to adopt it, already being in the middle of one gender bender and one time travel fic of my own.

Judging by your A/N I suppose Harry had been under a 'love' potion from Ginny as well? Hermione, too? Just enough and low level enough to artificially for an emotional attachment to 'kick-start' a relationship? That would fit righi into my perception that the magical world doesn't really see love potions as potential date rape drugs, especially the heavy duty ones that take away your free will. In canon, Harry did not seem to have understood what Merope Gaunt had done to Tom Riddle Sr. The man might have been an arrogant arse. However, he was already engaged. Merope's own selfish actions destroyed that. Canon-Harry thought Riddle Sr. should have stayed with his pregnant wife, even if only for the baby's sake. However, he did not seem to realize that Tom Riddle Sr. had in fact repeatedly been raped by Merope Gaunt, while he had still been mentally enslaved due to the suspected potion's influence. Keeping the child around would have constantly reminded Riddle of this.
I hope 'Yvi' finally realizes that in the near future, hopefully before Severus Snape manages to execute his plans.

Well, this is an interesting story, but I can see why you don't want to continue it. Way too much work and early power up stories usually end up in Potter ingroup wank anyway.

I wonder what 'Ivy' thinks of this Severus Snape and if 'she' can snap Snape out of it. Somehow.
Bella's behaviour, her backstory and her second chance are heartwarming. It's incredibly sad now no-one cared to help her when she needed it the most, without any ulteriour motives. I wonder, has this ritual disolved or broken her marriage to Rodolphus Lestrange? It she still on the records (and how) and if Rodolphus died, would she still inherit from him?
Will Lucius plan to declare Lily a child of a squib work or will he be thwarted by something utterly simple? I am thinking along the lines that Lily might have been curious before how her ending up with magic came to be. As those result would hardly be the same as Lucius, that might be interesting. And really, how many families are there whith one ancestor not being the biological parent with the family being perfectly aware of it, in spite of legal documents saying otherwise? The usual open secret situation. Considering that especially during wartimes partners sometimes are considered dead and missing, yet will return later on, or the shere number of rapes happening . . . That doesn't even count normally popping up 'illegitimate' children (be it from cheating or not) and 'saving-face' marriages.
Anyway, if you ever plan to re-activate this story, I'd be only too happy.
