Guest chapter 3 . 9/7/2017 This is a really great story you should write more of it. |
JimChou chapter 3 . 10/29/2016 I remember having read this great story quite some time ago but I never reviewed (don't really know why...). It is different from other post season 5 AUs and very compelling. Peter might have been distant during season 5, he said some hurtful things to Neal and had a hard time finding his footing after the events with Pratt, Hagen and so on but ultimately he never turned his back to Neal. As much as I'm sad Neal had to live through horrible times, I find it comforting that he finally reached out to Peter and found a happy ending and a family to rely on. You wrote their friendship great. |
Dol chapter 3 . 6/4/2016 You have written my PERFECT fanfic about Neal and Peter. As a diabetic, I face the possibility of a future amputation and my thoughts wander in that direction from time to time. You combined a wonderful happy ending possibility (Sorry Neal) with my wonder at adaptation to a prosthetic. I appreciate all you have written to craft the joining of these two themes. Thank you! |
Guest chapter 3 . 1/28/2016 Loved your stories. Hope you write another WC story. |
mouse8 chapter 3 . 1/23/2016 This is an extremely well-written story. It didn't always go where I wanted it to, but it was more honest than that, it kept very true not only to the characters but also to reality. A compelling read! |
theziai chapter 3 . 12/28/2015 Wow. I'm not sure why I only just read this, but it was such an enjoyable ride. I love how Peter's always there for Neal no matter what - this is a theme that I've also loved in your other story, "Patience is a Virtue". You deal with long-term disabilities and chronic conditions so well! :) I also love your handling of the relationship between Neal and Peter - the latter's protective instincts are ever so touching 3 I hope 2016 is awesome for you, and hopefully there'll be more White Collar fics from you! :D |
Anonymous chapter 3 . 11/29/2014 This is beautiful, great job! |
The Grandeurs of Despair chapter 3 . 10/4/2014 That was wonderful! I really hope that little "for now" means you've got a sequel in the works cause I would definitely like to read more of this! |
puage chapter 3 . 10/2/2014 Fantastic story. Love that Neal got the happy ending after all. Good job! |
Puage chapter 1 . 10/2/2014 Awesome first chapter! On to the next. |
A chapter 3 . 10/1/2014 Awww this was a nice story. I enjoyed it a lot. |
Storywriter55 chapter 3 . 9/30/2014 Great story! I loved seeing Neal overcome so much pain and heartache to come out the other side finally believing he deserved to be happy. And what a wonderful friend Peter was; seeing him through it all! |
Waltz Turner chapter 3 . 9/30/2014 Wow! What a story! So well written, such good flow, ...and so heartbreaking at times! I swear I went through half a box of Kleenex! I am glad it had a happy ending, especially for Neal. 10 years is so long though, and what happened to him so tragic...Nonetheless, a wonderful story! Thank you very much! I hope there will be more! |
Guest chapter 3 . 9/29/2014 awwwwwwww this is so adorable and sad and heartbreaking in every way possible. although i ddi think the marriage came in super fast...but apart from that its all good. I hat that u killed moz- how could you? HOW? and turn neal grey and one legged? Cut our hearts why dont you? Lol but peter and neals father/son interactions always always ALWAYS make me very happy, and peter being at neals side to support and protect him makes it even better. Great job. Hope we get more stories from you soon- without neal being physically damaged :( |
kyamei chapter 3 . 9/28/2014 This. Was. Just. So. BEAUTIFUL. What can I say? I loved every bit of it. I thought it was perfect. Brilliant. Ever since the fifth season ended several stories like this has been appearing but this is the best - by far! The characters were spot on. It's amazing that you managed to make it feel so real, all the time. There was never any melodrama, no excessive whining, everything just seemed to fit, everything was plausible. I loved that despite Neal's troubles he wasn't bitter towards Peter. I loved how meaningful you made Mozzie's death. I loved the imagery with the chocolate. I loved all of it. So touching. Also, very good writing. I have to especially compliment you on scene transitions - I thought they were very well done and the story never dragged. Such a satisfying ending. Congratulations. I've already read most of your stories but I think I'll read them again now... It had been a while since I read something like this. Thank you! |
