Jacob to the rescue! Leah imprinting on Nelson is classic; I mean- Edward and Jacob didn't get along until they had to and Nessie imprinted on Jake, so it makes sense that Leah and Jake's semi-rivalry would be resolved with her imprinting on his son.
Why would men hunt little girls down in the forest? Wouldn't it be easier to find and catch them in a crowded city? I know Nessie's life was terrible, but I think it was better than the life those horrible men intended for her

I never understood people who did that, the ring in the champagne thing. I'm not a big fan of public proposals either. But it's very fitting for Jake and Nessie somehow. At least he ignored her for a good reason!
