somehow it's very easy to see sephiroth in the gangster role and cloud as the terrorist librarian. and i liked your genesis and avalanche.

cloud not being there to meet sephiroth because first the library was closed and then he trying to blow up the city hall was hilarious,
and i loved little marlene telling sephiroth barret calles him regularly scumbag! :-)

This is such a cute story! You have such a way with writing and the way they knew eachother surprised me! Finding out how close they were to really meeting hit me in the gut but I am glad that the missed opportunity led to another meeting between them. I can't wait to see what other works you have! I started rereading some of your fanfics. Even this one has the right vibe of ff7. Vibe that is so rare among the works of other authors. Still hoping that you are coming back.

Very unexpected, but just gripping all the way through - loved it. A nice long one-shot, too.

So, first things first, the idea of Angeal being a gangster is just hilarious. It just brings about a whole slew of funny images.

That being said, this is cute. Crime lord Sephiroth falling for his librarian, the one with the good recommendations, is pretty amusing. Meeting Avalanche in jail is rather fitting, though Barrett adopting Cloud is a little unexpected. He was rather against having him around in the game, though I guess that had something to do with his SOLDIER background. He doesn't have a grudge against librarians, I guess.

Imagining Cloud stuck in prison with scary people like gangsters and being so helpless that he needs to be taken care of is so cute . He's so unbeatable and strong in Advent Children that I can't help but get all these images of little Cloud from Crisis Core. And that just makes me think of Seph cuddling him, which doesn't really fit too well with this story, but comes to mind regardless.

Anyway, this story is sweet and made me laugh. Nice work on putting it together!

This was amazing from start to end. Very IC, with a good balance of angst, fluff, and sensuality.

I'm way behind with other stories and oneshots, but a prison AU is hard to put on hold for less busy times! Do you know how rare prison AUs are?!

I love it when Cloud's a geeky hottie, it suits him so much. And I'm crazy about the way Seph has that thick air of danger surrounding him, it automatically intensifies his flirting - even to the point where I have to take breaks to fan myself! Ex-yakuza, oh my! *fans self again*

Holy **** i had no idea how much i needed this in my life until i read it. Prison au with freaking ex-yakuza sephiroth and his gorgeous tattoo alongside librarian cloud trying to blow up city hall! I love how you kept their characters despite this being an AU (something so man other authors struggle with) and you also managed to link in so many potential ideas to this! Don't suppose we'll be seeing a chapter 2 and infiltrating/destroying a chemical factory or two? So much potential and gentle leads in this fic about sephiroths past and clouds future!

You know I love you so I'm just gonna say it: I love you. This is amazing and you are amazing. I loved this fic so much. Terrorist librarian Cloud is my favorite foreverrrrr. Stay awesome, dude.
