I realize what your thoughts probably were when writing this fanfiction story not even the Doctor could for very long resist manipulation by Thanos however I would like to argue to the contrary that not even Thanos could manipulate the Doctor for very long short of leaving his own body and taking over the body of the Doctor. Especially since in adjacent to the Doctor's other reputation related nick names the Doctor was known by his own people during the Time War as the unpredictable factor during the Time War to the point that when Rassilion attempted to manipulate that Doctor into becoming Rassilion's personal weapon of hate and fear Zagraeous it actually backfired onto Rassilion the result being Rassilion's own death. Sure as you had Thanos pointed out Death always seems to follow the Doctor around however I want to point something out that the more pacifist fans of Doctor Who seem to miss the on spoken theme for Doctor Who besides the being neither cruel or cowardly is one of Winston Churchill's famous speaches "Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival(for any and all forms of life(species, ethnics, and races), life styles, cultures, traditions, and civilizations). Even if it means all the way to the death of those who are hostile to forms of life in general if they view that the balance between life and death are out of balance or if they are hostile toward anyone or anything that is different from themselves, or if they are trying to force others into becoming like they themselves, etc. etc. etc. And so.

You should do a sequel about what happens when Thanos tries to manipulates the Doctor into aiding him like it or no in his agenda of Death especially since the Doctor when against both the Cybermen and the Daleks for that very reason.
