The Apocryphal One chapter 1 . 8/20/2015 Very cute! I always love reading about future!Robin and child!Lucina's interactions, and how different they are from game!Robin and adult!Lucina. |
KimranReech chapter 1 . 1/18/2015 Nice One-Shot, I love Robin and Lucina together and I agree that for me too it makes the most sense story-wise, why Robin changed this much and why he could stand up against his fate. |
xTheODSTx chapter 1 . 1/12/2015 I myself have also been intrigued with what made the Robin's different. Cause the original never had his memory wiped. So...technically he knew what he was to become. I liked how you portrayed him, and if you did write it in another fanfic Id love to read it and share my input. Id beg. But...doubt that'd reimburse the idea. Have a good one! Love this shipping. Thanks for the read! |
GrandmasterRed chapter 1 . 1/2/2015 I have only had this game for a week and have already beaten it twice and went with Lucina both times |

TheWerdna chapter 1 . 9/21/2014 Wow, I really enjoyed this story, had a good mix of light fluffyness and some interesting thoughts on how things were different between the two timelines. I have to say, this interpretation on what the "original" Robin was like basically matches up with my own. The game brings up that Robin's bonds with everyone are stronger in the game, coming as a direct result of his amnesia. Since it was from his past, I too figured he must have known something of his past, and as a result was more distant, perhaps more cynical. Couple that with having gone through two much longer and far bloodier wars compared to the game's counterpart, it makes sense that things ended very differently. Since that's the thing to remember, in the original timeline it is implied that Robin willingly became Grima before the end. I don't think this was a case of him betraying Chrom and willingly killing him, but rather of him basically giving up and accepting his fate after he was controlled by Validar to kill Chrom. It is entirely possible that Chrom was one of the few people he was close to, so after being forced to kill his best friend, after going through utter hell so many times and none of it seeming to matter, I could easily see him going "screw it, why fight it anymore. I've spent my whole life fighting this fate... I give up". Heck, as seen by aspects of Robin's personality within Grima following them merging could even been seen as him basically lashing out against a world that showed him no kindness and basically screwed him over, leaving him as nothing but a puppet of fate. (This is furthermore supported by the Future Past version of Grima acting differently than the main story's, as in this timeline it is implied Robin didn't willingly merge with him and was fighting back, so this time it was just all Grima in control rather than a combination) Sorry for the long tangent, I just wanted to share my own thoughts on the matter. |
