hahahahahahaaha well it's not the whump I was hoping for, but it was an amazing detour from my bunny's usual cravings and was enjoyed perhaps a little too thoroughly *smiles as D'Artagnan once more attempts his 'put upon' puppy face*

Finally had time to sit down and read this and really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!

*takes several seconds to stop going back to re-read and snicker over the part about D'Artagnan learning of the perils in dealing with young children (being a teacher herself and seeing more than a few memorable scenes)*
love this sooooooooooooooooo much, sorry it took so long to comment, have been busy with the new semester (if you know a teacher who is bored of their job, tell them to come try an Asian cram school with several classes for varying grades in one afternoon)
It's so hard to find good writers these days who aren't hell bent of overloading the emoticons and who actually bother with their grammar- WHILE STILL HAVING A DECENT IMAGINATION! *squeals and begins tossing over many packages of VERY U.N. and humanitarian forbidden items (blame it on my love for history- particularity the time of the Spanish inquisition) and a trussed up D'Artagnan who is already high and freaking out on hallucinogenics*

Very much enjoyed this piece particularly the unique plot. And the lovely little twist at the end. I appreciate stories written that so well reflects the depths of each character and the language of the period. Well done.

Well I finally got here to read this and it was wonderful. I love the twist of the illness not actually being what they all thought it was and the idea of Athos trying to reason with kids was hilarious. Well done!

Loved IT! It was like watching an episode. Of course I was slow and didn't figure out it was the water until about the same time Athos did. You have done such a great job capturing each character's personalities. Can't wait for more stories...will help pass time until new series starts... BRAVO
