Imagining Guile as a kitty is just cute! But really, this shows the sadness of living as a human instead of a cat. It seems like a cat (especially Alfador) lives a better life.

I like this idea. There's a WMG on tv tropes that says that Sneff had done it. If only they had stuck with Radical Dreamers' Magil. Then Guile could've been Magus.

The narrative is cute, especially the term 'little fluffball'. Really shows how much Guile misses being a cat (cats live a free and fun life, while humans don't always). And that last line. I agree with that; it's a true story. My teacher once said: sometimes animals (especially pets of a rich household) live a better life than humans. My grandma even saw that at a mall, a pet dog was eating KFC with his master while a beggar watched them! So accurate.

Hi Mustang! My apologies for taking so long to come and review (I had a test today in Microbiology that I was busy cramming for). I'm so excited to see what you have here! For the record, I'm canon blind,though I have distantly heard of Chrono Trigger, so please excuse me if I make any wrong assumptions. Because this is so short, I went ahead and read a little bit about the character (or characters) in question to help me out. At any rate, let's go!

I have cats, so immediately, my attention was seized with the mention of [digging in the trashcans for leftovers]. Reminded me of my old cat, Jasmine who died last year. We used to call her the 'living garbage disposal', she was such a garbage digger tehe. But at [he would up wasting money], I was like 'oh, this is a human we're talking about, not a cat'.

Really loved how one thing that the narrative brings to our attention is how much the main character -or Guile- misses kids playing with him when he was a cat. Very cute image! What kid doesn't want to play with a cute, fluffy kitty?!

And ha, I couldn't help but chuckle at the line [what good was it being a human]. I agree, what good is it all?! Boooo to no more free fish and bowls of hot milk!

[Sometimes he wondered if a cat's life was better than a human's] indeed, I wonder the same thing *nod* I would love to be able to sleep and eat all day, but alas...
