| LaraWinner chapter 1 . 11/11/2014 I love this piece. There is something intriguing about Diaval and Maleficent relationship. He's her sworn servant yet treats her more like a friend than his mistress, despite the title, and she for all her villainous tendencies treats him similarly. They made fitting companions and I was happy they were flying together at the end of the film but I wanted to see more of their gruffly sweet interactions. I guess the romantic in me wanted to see Maleficent realize that he was the love meant for her in ways that Stefan never was. And I get that in this fic along with fluff and good feels. Excellent job. |
