Its a brilliant story, the emotion was excellent within it and the writing didn't detract. If you changed a few things, it would totally be an original story. My only issues are the fact that, while the emotion was prevalent, sometimes it came out of nowhere. The other is that its started to drag a bit after the doctor yang solution. You could have ended it there with nobody the wiser. Still excellent work that is difficult to come by.

Are you kidding me? The morality of this story is completely fucked up. Weiss killed someone in cold blood but it's Yang that's supposed to feel guilty for, what, trying to stop her from committing murder? That's ridiculous. Moreover, no one cares that Blake ditched her team for no reason? She might have had a reason to if she was scared of the ramifications of her actions, but she clearly wasn't considering she only talked to Weiss. So she is too selfish to even care a bit about her team. Heck, Weiss is in a similar boat. She obviously doesn't care about her team considering she never bothered to tell Ruby or Yang that Blake was okay. And I'm supposed to car for her? Not exactly sympathetic character traits. Finally Yang and Ruby don't care that Weiss murdered people for no reason? That is so fucked. Ruby even kissed her on the cheek without a care in the world. Weiss is a selfish murderer in this story whether you claim so or not, and there are WAY better ways of ending immoral business practices than outright murdering those that disagree with you.

Bravo, cakelegends! The pacing has long since evened out from the beginning, and your writing chops pull off all of the humor, romance, and drama you've set up so far quite well.

Hey, cakelegends! I'm rereading this whole series after I fell of the Ghost of Vale train a while back. I loved the trilogy (maybe more?) the first time, and I'm still loving it now. Just wanted to stop here to point out the unintentional call-forward to Armed and Ready from Volume 4. I know you had no idea the song would ever exist at the time (unless you're a Timelord), but I found the unexpected parallel amusing all the same. Hope to catch up soon!

I love the story

besides getting confused with the time gaps it was a great funny and hurt/comfort story I'm catching up to date with this and just finished this story and do you anyone know how long Ruby and Weiss were friends before they... you know... dated? I'm just confused with only that I live the story can't wait to see what happens when Weiss sees her sister...
