5 years to get to this point I’m pretty sure you’ve abandoned it though unless you pump out a single chapter every few months

Arranged marriages weren’t filled with anger and resentment. You gotta realize that pure blood society isn’t our society, they don’t walk into these marriages bitter and angry, they walk into them with the mentality that this is the person they will love. Usually if neither were degenerates that caused the marriage to be unbearable they ended up pretty happy.

It always baffles me the idea that people were ever angry with arranged marriages. I mean if your raised in a society or culture where they are common you wouldn’t get angry over them. The only times when men or women got angry over an arrangement was when they were already in love or hated the other person.

Also idk where all this stress from not having sex comes from, but... if you say it’s because he’s been having sex regularly for years, then I’m wondering what the hell has he been doing! Although he DOES go to hogwarts. Tbh I can’t imagine anyone at my school actually having sex at what 14? How...I’m not even going to question it.
Never mind cheating on his fiancée. I find it apprehensible. Also, don’t you think Antares would be more accepting of the courting system, considering he’s been raised in a manner where this was expected of him?

Other than this I do like the story, although there are the odd questionable bits of grammar, especially with dialogue, which is one of the hardest things to write. But there have probably been multiple grammar mistakes in this review, but it is slightly different, since you’re publishing a chapter and I’m quickly typing a quick review, though I do tend to get caught up in rather large tangents, like right about now!

While this review has been mainly negative, I am enjoying the story a lot more than I let on, though I am coming back to it after a while.

It’d be nice if you write some interaction with his brother (specifically sirius) or the black sisters and other family members. And I’m fine with him looking down on muggleborns and muggles. He’s been raised like that and even if he learns to tolerate them somewhat in the future makes more sense than him suddenly appreciating them and wanting to protect them.

Why does he take newt history?

He could aways go after muggles or ‘mudbloods’ under a glamour or something. Or even have the muggle forget what he looks like afterwards (only his appearance. Nothing else)
