Just ploughed through this entire saga! What a whirlwind of love and madness and death and emotions! Incredible stuff! Really enjoyed it. The ever increasing tension, the bitterness when enjoyable characters struggled and won and fought and died. I really hope this isn't the end of the story and we see what happens in the aftermath of this huge climax. I'm hoping for a rallying point on dragon island or could valka and her sanctuary emerge? Either way this was tremendous fun to read and I complement you on your epic story telling skills!

So Astrid is running away. Even mentally. Either you poorly portrayed her despair in finding out Hiccup's own infidelity or she's somehow thrown all the thoughts away before they could truly hit her in the heart. Let's not forget Erika is also Hiccup's baby. Astrid has a lot of reasons to be mad but no one parent gets to call all the shots. She can't just take Erika out of his life as well.
