Do you intend to keep this as a one-shot (with your onmake and all)? Or would you be willing to make a story out of this? So we could see the reactions of the others and how the relationship develops.

After all there are probably some jealous guardians out there shocked to find out the news. Or do they already know?

The onmake seemed a bit rushed. Oh and you used the term 'I' in the onmake while you only used the POV of the characters before? Maybe oyu could reformulate your sentence so that it's from the characters POV?

Also, you used past tense in the whole text except for the part where you suddenly wrote from your POV. Was that intentional?
