Have to say again how much I like how you develop post-season 2 Supermartian as they repair their broken trust and find their way back together.
How Gar does not even like to hear La'gaan's name was a nice little piece of humour for a serious end.

Overall though, thanks for this well done short story!

The end. Some wrapup, some confrontation, some meditation, and some hope. So ends the present future...for now. Some time off, some meditation on M'gann's actions back in season 2, some serious drama, character drama, coverups and above all, hope. Well done.

It was nice seeing what happened after the whole battle. It was a bit of a shame, we never got to see M'gaan after everything that happened in the last chapter. But still I really loved her conversation with Garfield. It was very sweet and emotional. I also liked how it was Garfield who came to talk to her, and not Conner. I thought you were going, to do it like that and I'm glad you didn't. Though I also did like the scene with her Conner. It was very sweet and it's to see they're back together now. Great story. The development was good. I loved seeing M'gaan's family and the villain was very complex. Good luck with your future stories :).

oh my gosh, dude, that was intense. Both chapters 6 and 7 were awesome but 7 would have to be my favorite.

To tell you the truth, I was grinning like an idiot when I got to the part where my comic took place(I just love it when it comes to fanfic-based illustrations)

Seriously, the fight between the M'ganns was INTENSE. This whole chapter was intense!

Ah, so that's how you tied this story into that 1 illustration. Cool. Actually, really awesome. seeing how the future got so far off track in the past.

Though, I liked how you tried to use as best imagery as you could to capture M'gann's despair, her determination, her strength, her shock, her rage, and the brutalness of their battle for the future.

Actually, you know what M'gann really needs to do after all this? Have a good long conversation with Bart. Not so much over dealing with darkness, but about how you deal with the fact that you know about the spoilers, and how you might prevent it.

Though, perhaps that's just the surface. You know who she really could use another visit to? Therapist black canary. Oh, she's going to need a really long session after this mission.

But for now, she will have to rest in the pain and power, knowing she stopped the future, but that the cost on her mental health was great indeed. Her fear and her sorrow. But for now, she must rest in those who love her. It is the best way to hold it together. So, I guess there's just the epilogue after this. The fallout and return home.

OH MY GOD I FEEL BAD FOR M'GANN! I JUST WANT TO GIVE HER A HUG!

Aside from that, I LOVED the fight between Future M'Gann and Conner & Garfield. Though I loved that she still has some feelings for Conner, even if they are incredibly fait. And by god, I LOVED the scene with M'gann in the cave, where she flashes back. It was heart warming, feelsy, sweet and great to see all the good times of her life. And great job on the scene, were Future M'gann cannot get herself to believe, that Conner really care about her. You did a great job, at the emotions. I also loved the scene, where the real M'gann completely decimates Future M'gann. That felt so gratifying. Though I loved the scene where M'gann sees Future M'gann's history. It was both sad and dark, especially the scene with her and Conner. And that ending man! Good god…was that dark and depressing.

Amazing job. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Like the Supermartian scene in the flashback. One of the big issues in good continuation YJ fics lies in how much M'gann abused Conner's trust of her, and how they have to get past it.

"So get back up, because I'm going to enjoy putting you back down there." :-)

What's the phrase? When we are at our lowest is when we have the greatest capacities for good or for evil.

Her future self seems to be trying to tear her into little pieces, pointing to the evils of the world, showing that even on earth, a racism exists just like at home. Trying to tear away her friends, her loved ones, her son. Brutal.

But this cannot be the end. For M'gann might have built up walls and faults as she went, but if she's going to save her family, then she'll need to find whatever it is within her that made her a Leaguer, to save the future, and the present.

F. M'gann's description on how she killed everyone reminds me of a line from Blackest Night, where J'onn is yelling something along the lines of "I am as strong as Superman, why does everyone keep forgetting that!?" as the heroes are forced onto the defensive, hard. Also thinking of M'gann's 'fight' against Tigress and Deathstroke where she would just vaporize crossbow bolts

This was a very intense chapter. The brief backstory with M'gann was both informative and well done. Then came the Future M'gann with her monologue on racisim. It should how much different this one is to the one you know, and was very character driven. This older M'gann obviously has been through some horrible stuff! The flashbacks to M'ganns past were once again well done, being used by future M'gann to mock her past self. Though I'm guessing this, is an alternate version of M'gann from a different world. Whatever she is, she's damn right sadistic! And now she's got both Connor AND Garfield! THIS KEEPS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE! Oh my god poor M'gann! What's going to happen now? I look forward to the next chapter, to find out.
