love this story. I'm normally not a fan of OCs. I just find that people have a hard time integrating a new character into already developed relationships. you have no problem with it though. I love the subtle NCIS references throughout. I thought I was going crazy at first thinking her dad and Mike sounded a lot like characters from NCIS but then you mentioned a "goth girl" and realized that was intentional. please tell me, is Sarah going to get on vervain soon? my heart races anytime she's around vampires because I'm afraid she's going to be compelled again. I feel like one of the vampires in her life should offer her some kind of vervain to protect her. Also love the foreshadowing of possible New Orleans time. I hope she gets to see Elijah soon.

I really like your story and how you portray the characters. I honestly can't stand Elena and her little minions, but could you please make Sarah be a bit more observant and actually think about the things she sees. It kind of annoys me how she just chalks everything up to being weird. But I'm not trying to hate, I really do like your story. Plz update soon

So this is actually my second time reading this but I've gotten farther because there are more chapters this time but I'm a little disappointed that there aren't more since the last time you updated was February. So this is me letting you know people are still reading (or re-reading as the case may be) and want to see if Sarah will eventually get the guts to invite Elijah back for graduation, although that won't be for a little bit or if she won't see him until she goes to college in Louisiana...
