Oh. My gosh. I can't even describe how amazing this fic is. It's so...perfect. Terrible, yeah, but it makes so much sense. I don't think I've read a fic with a clearer way of presenting how they conditioned Bucky. Treating him like a child and convincing him he's not even old...works. It just does. I wish I had done something similar in my own stories.

And it's chilling. Heartbreaking. Grotesque.
