Amazing story.

I LOVED this! I love your interpretation of Carol, it's how I see her too and there are not enough stories like this one. Daryl had so much dimension and Myka is a fascinating OC. And, it is so well written. I wish you'd write more with Carol and these characters in later seasons events after she comes back from exile. I bet your interpratation would be amazing.

Were you making Carol out to be Shane like? I felt like since season 4 she was heading in that direction and season 5 convinced me. When I read this I saw that attitude in how you write her. Its interesting to see it expanded on in a story like this. She’s gone blank, lost her will to live, only knows how to survive and has reached into the darkest part of herself and committed an atrocity in the name of group protection when in fact it was not. Very Shane like. That would propel her to do some desperate shit like you wrote. Liked this a lot

I liked it! I feel like your version of Carol was closer to the comic book Carol than the show but I really enjoyed this story!

I'm writing this review on my phone practically in a closet at work. Lol I just read this all in one shot. I couldn't stop and kind of passed my work off on other people tonight, my bad. Please forgive any typos. You are an excellent writer and screw anyone who is so involved in a ship or whatever that they have to leave hate on your story. I enjoyed it, especially Merle who I love and how at first Daryl kind of had no balls and then grew some, when it came down to going after what he really wanted. It didn't matter to me who it was he was going after because your writing drew me into the story. And thats why I'm here. To read a good story. I'm sad that its over actually but I'm also reading Note to Self, good job on that one too :). Love it. I know theres alot of BS going on now over the MSF in the fandom. Cant we all just get along? Any way. Your style is very unique. I hope you will be writing more because im plowing through your stuff rapidly here.

Interesting story. Im not a fan of Carol either and I really don't like Caryl shippers stories it just seems really wrong :)

Jumping right into the review for this one. Her being down in the tombs, the symbolism of her supposed to have died down there, such a horrifically beautiful analogy. Carol wanting Daryl to think Myka left but Daryl knowing better than to listen to Carol's lies, knowing Myka better. Merle being there for him when that sliver of doing crept in was great. Clyde scratching at the door, her little hero. That moment she realizes what she deserves really hit home with me. You my sweet, sweet Alva are a genius and don't think I didn't see what you did there...making the parallel of Daryl finding Carol in the tombs from the show but showing Myka wasn't a weak damsel in distress. He rescued her yes but she was strong enough to save herself. Carol stating "I can handle Daryl." Like she was so sure of herself only further proving her instability and the fact she is playing a game. Myka saying Daryl is a person not a thing. "He's with me, he doesn't belong to me." So much truth that people often forget. "Alone not lonely, alone together." Love that line! Hate to see this one go but you tied it up nicely that left me with the same feeling after watching a thought provoking movie. That moment that you just need tosit there for a minute and reflect.

This was a great ending. I really enjoyed this story, and I am so sorry about all the negative reviews that you received. You are one of my fav writers in this fandom and on . I really like how you inserted dialogue from the show and how you portrayed Carol. Still don't like her, but how you wrote her in this, made me understand her craziness better, where in other fics, she's just portrayed as psycho, without any real clarification as to what goes on in her head. Can't wait for what you write next!
