That's very close to canon! Still Ace, it is NOT smart to attempt to murder the leader of a gang in front of his followers. Ususally you end up dead, whether or not you succeed!
He's so lucky they're so kind to him. XD

I really enjoyed your story, the setup was pretty nice and the Ace/Marco and Whitebeard Crew interactions were pretty authentic (as close to canon as an AU can be- love that!) in my opinion. The ending felt a little rushed, though. The closure (meeting Luffy and Sabo/becoming part of the family) did not do your great beginning justice. Still a good story!

This was really lovely. It was a homage to canon with Ace trying to kill Whitebeard, yet very unique. I loved the setting and I think you explored the world wonderfully. Poor Sabo though, having to deal with Luffy on his own!

The only concrit I have is probably try not to use epithets? I'm sure you know I have an agenda against epithets anyway, I feel they really hold back a writer!
