I really loved this fic, and I loved so much the way in which Alvin tries to protect her! I usually get distracted when reading fanfics but I read this one with no interruptions, jaja, that's my way of saying how much I enjoyed it C:

A great picture of what happened between Alvin and Leia; I could easily imagine this as a sub-event, even. Entirely in character and not too contrived, too. And you ended it at just the right moment. It's nice to explore Alvin's emotions after the betrayal, since god knows what he's thinking during that time.

Overall, nice read.

Good use of linking to highlight the trust issues going on. Alvin's insistence at being a free mercenary at the end was pretty nice too.

Helibord in the first description should be Helioborg but that's the only mistake I caught so good job there.

The other... "issue" is with the bridge. But not for the reasons I'm sure anyone would expect. It's incredibly subtle, but everything in Elympios is constructed out of metal and stone. So then the bridge—especially one over a major travel location—shouldn't be made out of wood.

But yeah, other than two utterly tiny problems, I found no flaw with this. Good writing all around and a shout out to Tsukasayuki too for getting it posted.

I loved this whole fanfic from top to bottom! Like the other reviews already mentioned it, you keep them both so in character, and I especially love the moments when Alvin feels awkward and he tries to hide it behind his sassy behavior. Usually I always end up rolling my eyes whenever a guy says "I will protect you no matter what blabla" because it mostly sounds unbearable cheesy, but the way he said it to her was so sweet it made me squeal and giggle like a retard xD I also loved the battle scenes, they made me feel like playing the game again with all the linking artes, lillium obrs etc.
So, I guess everything that needed to be said is said. I'm so happy you decided to upload this little treasure and you managed to inspire me to draw more Alvin/Leia fanarts. Would be really cool if you'll upload some more in the future 'cuz I can never get enough of these two.

I love this pairing and I love this story! :) It seemed to have a lot of effort put into it, and you kept the characters perfectly in character. The interactions between Leia and Alvin were honest and not rushed and you gave it just enough of a hint of romance! I loved the ending especially because their cute arguments and jokes are my favorite part about this pairing. I hope to read more from you!
