What a lovely story! I really enjoyed the dynamic of Yondu and Peter in the film since they have a Father/Son-like relationship (if you can call it that), so stories like these really capture what it must have been like for a young Peter to be growing up with the Ravagers. Great job!

Good, very good! I'm not very familiar with the Centaurian race and its history (it sounds really interesting though, did you get the info from the comics or did you made it up?) so I could easily identify with Peter's confusion. You wrote him very well: he's hesitant towards the Ravagers after the kidnapping so he's not sure he should care about Yondu, but being the caring person he is (and knowing as a Terran how it feels to be hated in space), he does it anyway. Yondu and the other Ravagers are spot-on as well: I love reading their interactions with Peter and how he slowly becomes part of the crew by showing he has guts and is willing to stand up for their boss.

I really enjoyed reading this short story of Peter and his time with the Ravangers, and his bond with Yondu. Thanks for writing it! :)
