Actually, according to the Japanese version, the Entity is the planet. Just wanted to let y'all know.

I think you can effectively rule out Lavos as the entity. After all, when Robo starts this whole 'entity' conversation, he says, "After 400 years, I'm beginning to believe Lavos might not be responsible for the gates. It's almost as if some entity wanted to relive its past." I don't know who the entity is, but I think it's supposed to be something bigger than any one character. However, it kind of makes sense that it could be Schala.

Play Chromo Trig and cross talk to every body leave no one out and you will get about five times more evedence pointing to Schala.

I'd have to say it's a mix of schala/lavos if not just schala, play chrono cross and it perty much tells you that and schala becomes a BIG part of the game

if you're refering to the comments about manipulating everthing that were made right before the final battle, it was refering to DNA

Dude, it was obviously Lavos.

First of all, he WANTED to die, so that he could come back in his ultimate form. (I beat the game with Robo, and he says lots of usefull shtuff)

He NEEDED for Crono and the others to be strong, so that they could kill him. Armed with this knowledge, I figured out who was the entity at the end of the game, and made Lavos seem a lot more sinister. Oh well.

ive always liked chrono as the entity

lavos plays an important part in the entity's life(glenn said something to that effect) everyone in the game was affected(effected?) but it but i limit it to queen zeal(read one with her as the entity)chrono, schala and magus

reasons for each would be

zeal-i got the impression she was originally just trying to help her people but eventually got seduced by lavos' power, perhaps somewhere inside she was still human..ish

chrono-he got killed by lavos, got bounced thru time like a ping pong ball to stop it, and well, his name means time. Also on a side note i took chrono's mom not remembering lucca's name because they just moved to truce...but my view on things

schala-she loses her brother, mother and mentors(gurus) because of lavos, she is also responsible for the destruction of the kingdom of zeal(hey she raised him regardless of the reasons so can you say guilt)

and magus-lost his sister his mother and his cat because of lavos

reasons against

lavos-why would he set his own destruction in motion? he exsisted from 65m bc to 2300 ad(paradox anyone) so if he had a gate to 1000ad because chrono that means he knew when chrono was from(and where since the gate was right there)why didnt he just kill him then?

zeal-to crazy

schala-to wimpy

magus-to cold(only cares about schala and alfador)

so i go with chrono

why

because he's mysterious(think about it how much do we really know about him?)

and ultimatly

because ive been rambling and i think its time i went to bed
