What angst! Vulcans can be so cruel to outliers, and humans are not much better. It's a wonder Spock is still same when he gets the chance to die for Jim again. I'd love to see a sequel.

This is a really emotional story. You surprised me with the sudden flash forward to Spock and Jim suddenly being together. Any chance we can flash back? How long is this story going to last? Do you plan to tear my heart to shreds? I do love it in a fiercely sad kind of way. :)

At the same time both absolutely heartbreaking and adorable the way even this Spock wants to be with Kirk. I'm loving this story. The length of this first chapter is incredible! ;)
