This was a really sweet chapter. I love seeing Starrk just walking around during a moment of peace enjoying everything that there is to see, and being amazed by the different sorts of arts and crafts that people have made. I like that he can enjoy a calm day with Shunsui.

Okay, honestly I have mixed feelings about this fanfic. I mean the overall story was pretty good, but the sex scenes were a turnoff because I had to keep skipping over them...

That was made up for with your amazing verbal sparring scenes and the absolutely perfectly executed emotional angst in your plot. The complexity and depth of the story is intriguing and leaves readers with something to think on, which is something that all writers should aspire to.

Ultimately, it was a great work that few people have been able to achieve. It has its ups and downs, but that's my opinion. Awesome job! Keep up the good work :-)

...Your mind is a beautiful, magical place filled with awesomeness and sparkly warponies trampling their enemies. This story is fricking AMAZING; how are you even a thing that exists?

Wow. The implications of just how fucking dangerous Starrk could be with proper, long training are frightening. His insight and cunning, combined with the fact he's clearly quite good at learning given he picked out Kyouraku's swordsmanship and matched him somewhat.

Combined with raw power...scary individual.

Honestly, the flashback scenes between Aizen and Starrk make me uncomfortable, so I skip them, everything else, I watch. Pretty damn interesting. Really well written and detailed, all in all. Interesting takes on Hollows.

Nice characterization. I applaud you aiming for the friendship between Shunsui and Juushiro. There's something nice on a really strong friendship that isn't romance.

I am amazed by how well you captured the characters. Kudos.

This is beyond great stuff. ;) It has amazing writing, an interesting plot, exceptional deep characterizations and very much good things. It's a great - like Alexander - story and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel because I really enjoyed this one. :)

I don't know where you're going with it but I think it has something to do with the soul king and what tier was talking about when she was thinking about her reasons for the alliances.

You don't need to make up excuses for what you write. Is your story, you can distort it as much as you want. Great story, really though. Can't understand why it's not more popular.

I found the premise of the story really interesting and was glad that I read all 175k words of this absolutely compelling world that you created, based off a single change in the canon storyline. While there were a few typos and grammatical errors here and there, they did not detract from the story. I really liked how you fleshed out Starrk's character and made sure to retain Lilynette's importance (because she is so often forgotten in slash fics involving Starrk). Harribel was portrayed in a rather interesting way, retaining her Hollow characteristics, coupled with a fair amount of political knowledge-actually, the handling of politics in general made the story just seem all that more real to me. And of course, Shunsui and Ukitake and Rukia and the shinigami were all quite interesting. Suffice it to say, I'm eager to see how you plan on handling the Thousand Year War, because you've done a marvelous job so far. Please continue!

Aw, not until June? I'll just have to wait. :) Heh... I honestly know very little of the Wandenreich arc. The enemies don't grip me at all. Also, there's no Starrk. Why wasn't he brought back as one of Mayuri's zombies? Oh well. In that case, read my stories! I wonder what you'd think of Stalking Wolf? XD It's a completely different take on Starrk and it's almost done!
