HOLY! THAT WAS A ROLLER COASTER! I screamed in joy when Sammy told Peeta that Katniss is alive even though I already knew that. I think it still surprised me and my sister hit me because I'm being loud and weird while reading this hahaha. This is so beautiful! I cried and laugh a lot. I am so happy they found each other. It's too bad Haymitch didn't made it. He's like a father-figure to both Katniss and Peeta and I've always saw them as a trio in the books and movies but I'm still happy at the ending. I have read this fic before, probably a half dozen times, and it gets me in the gut every single time. It is so beautiful. The line that always makes me tear up is when Prim tells Peeta, “the way you love Katniss? That’s how I thought all husbands love their wives”.

Oh my god. This was perfection. You wrote a complete wonderful amazing story in two chapters. You started in with intrigue wonder and sadness and you ended it with happiness and a touch of sadness. But it was absolutely perfection. Thank you for writing this incredible piece.

THIS IS AN AMAZING STORY! I was sobbing uncontrollably from the bombings until the very end. I really started crying when Katniss, Peeta, and their kids were reunited. The story is so beautifully and almost poetically written. Absolutely loved it

OH MY GOODNESS! This story was an emotional rollercoaster for me. From the end of chapter one to the end of chapter two, I was SOBBING! This story was really well written. You have amazing talent, and I LOVED this story so much!

Just beautiful! Reminds me of the 2012 film The Impossible with Naomi Watts and Ewan Mcgregor. The hope, the themes of family, hope, and survival. The ending while others may say was bitter sweet. It was a happy ending despite the circumstances. How I wished the others could’ve survived. Especially Effie’s expectancy of Haymitch! I like how Effie made an appearance. I hate how Collins didn’t give the reader much about her status at the end of mockingjay. But this was a beautiful story. Just beautiful. You’re one of the few writers who are spot on with Katniss’s personality without her coming off terribly annoying and selfish. You make her human and more sympathetic towards her actions. I just loved this beautifully written story. I hope you can continue writing these amazing stories. Also another thing, Collins was trying to portray in the hunger games were the affects of war and how it’s never pretty; the trauma, ptsd, the sacrifices, the loss, everything... You also were able to portray that in the book quite well too. The raw realism. Great job. Amazing job!
