This is such an amazing piece of writing. I think I've told you before that you have a wonderful writing style, and this story only makes that more obvious. The way you've written the brothers and Splinter just makes my heart melt. I love the little moment you gave us of Splinter being a cheeky dad, the bedspread reveal had me grinning, and the boys are all so in character, both in themselves and the way they interact with each other. Also, Leo's gift to Donnie was gorgeous. Thanks for this little vignette into the turtles childhood!

Aw! Such a sweet story! When I was a youngun i had a space themed mattress and box springs-I didn't want to sleep with sheets because it covered up the pictures printed on the mattress, lol.

Oh, this was just *perfect*! I just loved the Leo and Don dynamic and its not seen as much recently. I think you had the characters perfect and this was truly a joy to read. I had a goofy smile all the way through.
