How did I miss this. I know I have read it before on another site, but glad you shared it here too. It fits the book cannon very well. Walt of the books can be more brooding and in his head about cases and this was such a good representation of that - Nobody died tonight - focus on the good in all the bad he sees and they will get past this too.

I haven't read the books (it took me walking in on my husband watching for me to go "Oh! Neat!" LOL), but I really like this. Judging from your story (and what I could get from googling), Vic and Walt end up closer than the tv show does, but I could see this in the tv show. I think the actors have good chemistry.
