This was so great! thank you for writing it was pleasure to read. I really liked the TOS ep, but it's a difficult one to watch, your rendition of it was much easier :) I really also appreciated an epic friendship fic. I read slash for the reboot version, but what's kept a fan of ST for decades is the amazing friendship between Jim and Spock and then the triumvirate. There was an Op-Ed in the NYT recently about the importance of real friendships - that has always appealed to me as the relationships that continue to grow and anyone who knows anything about ST could understand!

Yes, I enjoyed your reboot. I love the new movies and could picture this 'old' story really good with how you wrote it. You caught the new personalities of Kirk, Spock and Bones very well and I found the moment when Bones realised Jim in the woman hilarious. I haven't seen the original story till now but I will soon. Still - it was a fun ride. Thank you for sharing!

I liked the story very much! It took unexpected turns at the perfect places, the 'new' reactions perfect, and I really like your portrayal of Janice. I enjoyed reading, thanks for writing it! The one thing I would suggest is a Beta reader. It doesn't have to be someone on the site, it can just be a friend or someone who is willing to help edit for clarity.
