Beautiful and heartbreaking story... loved every second of it

Omg I've followed you on tumblr for years and yet somehow have never read your fics. But every couple months I fall heavy into GrimmIchi again, and I found this on a GrimmIchi rec list. And omg I LOVE THIS! I loved every part of it, from the very beginning where Ichigo attacked Grimmjow. And that scene just seemed so real cause you had Grimmjow thinking about if it was a shark that waving his hands in the water would be the wrong thing to do. And then Ichigo following his ship just out of pure curiosity, and it began so cute and sweet and so darn fluffy as they got to know each other. Like I was burying my head into my pillow at so many parts cause omfg can these two get any more sweet and endearingly funny. And I loved the scene when they were docked at port and they just chilled in the shallow shore, cause it was such a beautifully romantic scene, like yes that's what my hopelessly romantic fantasies are made of. And I'll be honest, I didn't see the tragedy tag until I started ch2, so through the entire chapter, my heart was slowly dying knowing this wasn't gonna end happily cause omg look at them! They're toothachingly adoring figuring out each other's quirks and finding all of their differences to be cool and something to look upon with awe. But I gotta say, I've always thought sadness and grief looked good on Grimmjow, maybe it's just my thing of liking to see angry/powerful/dominant charas finally crack. So while the ending was super painful, I did love the fact that Grimmjow left no man standing, slaughtered his whole crew, and probs became a cautionary tale about seducing sea creatures. And there's just something about him taking his ship and docking it a quiet beach (I like to assume it's the place back where Ichi attacked him cause that makes it all the more painful) and begging for the ocean to take him that really settles deep in heart as an ache I won't be forgetting anytime soon. So yeah, I loved this story 3 3

Needs a sequel, or perhaps an additional chapter with the happy ending

I knew it would finish like that but I was hopeful, so hopefull! Their love was so beautiful, without boundaries... I really liked how it developped, slowly but surely and again I thought Grimm would be able to reason his crew, one member at the time...
Again I lost a lot of hours of sleep to read this but it was with it.
