I always like a Maine-centric fic, but it is nice to read a story where he's actually human-like, instead a psycho as most authors justly portray him as. I liked the Season 9 Maine where he looked out for his friends, going so far as to take a 50 cal to the chest just to protect Carolina. Don't tell anyone, but I did like the subtle mentions of Connie. Added an emotion yoou don't usually see in stories with Maine as the main character. 8.5/10
