I love this. This is beautiful. Not only does it fit the LOTR characters into Narnia perfectly, your narration style makes it seem like I'm truly there, with the gentle, soothing narrative in my ear as I watch. It's a wonderful combination of complete beauty, Aslan's love (which translates to the love of Jesus, I'm Christian) and Faramir's feelings of inadequatecy which gives way to him realizing how much he's worth.
I would not mind seeing this expanded into a larger story, and will definitely read it again.

I actually ship Faramir/Lucy more than Faramir/Eowyn. The way Lucy is portrayed in the Narnia books, especially in The Horse and His Boy, she is brave, valiant, and kind like Eowyn, but she is much less emotionally challenged/depressed. Don't get me wrong - Eowyn is a great character who shows a lot of growth and depth, but I think Lucy would be Faramir's soulmate. On the other hand, the Faramir/Eowyn "houses of healing" scene from LOTR BOOK is so, so sweet.
