FinlandVai chapter 1 . 10/7/2017 Uhhhhh...I didn't realize he lived in 3 lives...to be honest I thought it was just one life...I don't get it...It was a great story tho...but it left me utterly confused... |
Dutchgirl chapter 100 . 7/28/2017 ;-;. So beautiful was this story. It took a while for me to figure out what the hell was going on. But if you read everything he was in a loop. And I loved this fic until chapter 100. |
Charlia Marie Delacroix chapter 100 . 7/16/2016 this was amazing I'm crying |
MINORIY chapter 1 . 6/5/2015 To the anonymous guest, how about posting your comments with your TRUE ff account since you're a very well-mannered person? How could you speak ill of other user behind his back? I came to read this fanfiction simply because I was craving for some sufin fiction, not for some love triangles involving a flat OC. Undoubtedly this is a decent writing, but it would be appreciated if the author posted some warning about the unfaithful events before starting exhibiting her command of writing skills. |
Guest chapter 100 . 5/31/2015 Honestly, this story has gotten me really confused. Was it reincarnation? Why him? Did Tino also experience this time jump thing (maybe not in this life but in other ones)? That being said, I still feel that this story has a very...mystical feel about it and from the start we are just left to wonder what is going on. It feels like there's a lot of metaphors, a lot of information between the lines that I just didn't get. I do really love the distinction between the dark and dawning age. Also, I know that that person posted their comment a long time ago but that MinoriY person was very rude. You should be able to do what you want with the characters. I really like your OCs particularly Miranda and its understandable that Berwald would marry her. Tino's death scenes were also very nicely written and the feelings of horror and disbelief that came about from reading it were pretty amazing. |
ItalianPotatoMoustache chapter 1 . 5/8/2015 I rarely fall in love with stories, but this fanfic managed to jump its way to my top three within just a few chapters. It's so well written and laid out I couldn't stop reading it. The final chapters were so filled with emotion, I actually felt like I would actually cry! You did such an amazing job writing this! |
jojoandpicnic97 chapter 100 . 4/11/2015 I usually don't read stories with more chapters than thousands of words, but the synopsis interested me so I went to read the reviews and didn't get past the first one before I went back and read it (even though the review kind of spoiled some plot points). Your story left me with more questions than answers, though you do say all of the answers are written, but I guess my mind isn't abstract enough to come to a solid conclusion of what the heck Berwald was going through. I liked it. Thanks for writing! |
MoreRunningAway chapter 1 . 2/9/2015 "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." I have no idea what the story is about. No valid, eloquent, developed idea that spans past vague theories of rebirth or insanity or profound metaphors of the un-importance of human life. No personal reasoning for characters motive's, no answers to the impossible questions. I am no writer, that much is obvious. All I have, here, are thoughts. Notions. Opinions. The main one being that this story is a masterpiece. A beautifully structured mess of battered points of view, subtly and slimy tense changes, heartbreaking vocabulary and with little left to be desired. I love the vague, almost "rushed" feel of the ending. The short chapters that manage to rupture my feelings more than some of the longer ones. The answer always lying there in plain sight, painted a dangerous shade of red, but easily overlooked due to a discreet, white cover of powerful, purposeful writing. The re-invented characters, their humanity and realism and emotion. I, sometimes, wish for the loose ends to be tied, however, for a clear explanation among the imagery, for some form of answer to questions I could only form theories about. Why did Hiss kill Tino? Who killed Miranda? Was Berwald crazy? Or victim of the choking roundabout of rebirth? Was his "shadow" really just that? Other times, I enjoy the freedom and figuring. Maybe the answers are there and I am just too blind and immature to see. This is a story I would be curiously drawn to in the bookstore and would not be released from until I had read the final word- read "Tino". The story I would pay money to read over and over again, even if it were free on the internet. The story whose fleeting flaws are hardly worth mentioning due to the vast expanse of thought and feeling. This is a story I love. |
Tre Corde chapter 100 . 1/15/2015 And there it is. The last note of a beautifully unique symphony. Well, it's been a marvelous ride, and I'm honored to have been able to watch this story unfold from the very beginning. The narrative is a labyrinth of twists and turns that keep readers on their toes; the imagery is truly evocative, at times frighteningly expressive, at other times carrying a dark sort of simplicity. I admit that sometimes the word choice/phrasing is odd enough to the point of distraction, and that there are little typos scattered throughout. There are also instances where the more philosophical sections come off as a bit heavy-handed, though for the most part they are intriguing additions to this complex yarn. And, overall? This really has been a treat to read. The ending kind of took me by surprise (I was definitely not expecting you to upload seventeen chapters at once, haha) and perhaps for that reason I get the sense that it's a little rushed. Or maybe it's because so much time was spent on the development of one of the three lives that the other two feel somewhat shallow in comparison. Also, a lot of things are hinted at or vaguely implied, but never really end up feeling properly resolved... Ah, I sound so curmudgeonly. In any case, it's a good ending. I especially liked the scene where he burned the bookâit shows his growth and maturity in a single decisive moment where he finally stops clinging so much to the past. Physically, he regresses, but spiritually, he steps forward. The irony here is bittersweet. And finally, the ending itself. There's something breathlessly sad about it, this quiet, deliberate conclusion as the clock winds down to nothing. (So this is the way the world ends: not with a bang, but a whimper.) The last chapter really drives home how, with the timeline of Berwald's life/lives in constant flux, Tino always was and always will be the one and only constant. His steady rock, even as the river overflows around him. Thank you for the story. I wish you the best, in life and in writing. |

DewdropEevee chapter 100 . 1/14/2015 Wow... Honestly, this is a reminder that one word, or a few words, can have so much meaning and make such a nice ending. These last few chapters had me clicking next with a pounding. Such a wonderful ending to a wonderful story. Amazing job, as always! |
ooooohehe chapter 100 . 1/13/2015 Wow. All I can say is wow. This was so intricately written, it leaves me at a loss for words. Especially that ending. |
NothingIcanSay chapter 100 . 1/13/2015 I-whoa. Those last few chapters had me cycling so quickly, and by the lst five minutes had my heart pouring in my chest terribly and by the 100th, I found myself relieved and tearful. A fitting ending? You could say so. I don't know what to say. |
