bethb1973 chapter 1 . 1/5
I am so excited to be starting Part II and that it is already complete. I do love your writing and I can't thank you enough for helping take a dreadful time off my mind! I am off to chapter 2.
DONE394 chapter 28 . 1/4
I love Baseball myself (Yankees fan)
DONE394 chapter 26 . 1/4
Dementia is an AWFUL illness. I recently lost a great uncle to it. The sooner we do something about that and cancer (and AIDS) the better.
DONE394 chapter 3 . 1/4
Awesome story.
I am "stiff upper lip watch what you say to me Scottish" and a little patriotic - not as much as I used to be, although my passport says I am British, I think I would sooner be American.

I have a hidden disability and people here are just plain awful. In the supermarkets here they are SUPPOSED to (for the most part anyway) assist with packing and they don't even ask half the time.

In the US (where my mother lives) they just bag the shopping for you, no questions asked.
Despite all of his flaws and foibles #45 is a darned good President, he's done wonders with the economy and he's doing his best with everything else... He's running the US like a business... (which is what he knows... and what he does very well. He might be a bit brutal sometimes but he's friends with two people I have a lot of respect for. Michael Flatley - "the Irish Jig Guy" to quote Joey Tribbiani and Vincent Kennedy McMahon - owner of World Wrestling Entertainment) I get why JK Rowling calls him "President Voldemort" but honestly he's doing a lot better than the clown we have. Because Jeremy Corbyn blew it, we're stuck with Boring Boris Johnson. He's a racist misogynist scuzzbucket no deal supporter who should be in The Tower of London for LYING to the Queen... that won't happen of course. Worse though we have Nicola Sturgeon the do nothing politician up here and all she's done is cause a rammy (argument fight or debate) about Independence (which is NEVER going to happen)
TV and Netflix is better in the US (except for the ad breaks but that's what TiVo was invented for.)
Sweet Shy Suz chapter 23 . 10/31/2019
I lost both my parents to lung cancer. They both were heavy smokers and my Dad worked in a place where there were a lot of carcinogens in the air. Of course, he never wore a face mask, I am very sorry for your loss. On another note, I think this story is amazintg.
hisnhers chapter 35 . 7/19/2019
I adore your story. I am so happy for Severus, for his own as well as Harry's sake. And of course his friends. I love that R has returned and was pardoned. Happy that Poppy has removed her glamour. I do love that about your fics. Sweet.

Your author's notes on this fic are actually interesting! Relatives and acquaintances, etc if your family. I find your logic regarding Aberforth quite compelling. By the facts and logical leaps you have made it makes complete sense! A definite reason to add to the hostility between brothers. Interesting, never gave it any thought actually. I did read one fic... I think by corvusdraconis? that made him out to be an unspeakable and most likely a Ravenclaw... I believe? Loved that he wasn't what he seemed. However, I find your characterization to be more accurate, if we are trying to stick to canon. Corvusdraconis doesn't even try for canon and is very upfront about that fact. Love her fics even more for that to be honest... lol!

Your fics make me feel strong emotions and empathy, which I have an immense amount of, to the point I feel everything they are enduring. Now that takes a talented writer to achieve. You my dear, are Talented! I'm sure I have mentioned that before, but I will mention it again. You. Are. Blessed. with immense amounts of Talent.

I lost my Nana to lung cancer. She coughed for 2 years and kept saying it was allergies. She died less than 1 month after it was finally diagnosed. She didn't think it was important enough to tell the doctor... She had smoked a LOT in her 20s and 30s, but stopped. It still caught up with her in her 80s.

Miss her so much.

This chapter had me missing her even more. Wouldn't what you wrote be nice? Amazingly enough, science is headed that way. One day it may be possible.

I just reread yr 1, however, I don't remember reading this one before. Maybe I read year one and forgot to go back to read yr 2? Who knows. Anyway, great as always. Love Severus as Harry's mentor or dad. I also enjoy a good Lucius opposed to an evil one, on occassion. And, yes! I firmly believe Albus had issues... mental health or manupulative, take your pick.

Thank you!

Btw, author's note 3... cool beans.

It is very hard to lose someone to cancer. I lost my dad to cancer when I was five years old. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. It has been over 26years now soon to be 27 and it still hurts like it was yesterday.
Guest chapter 4 . 5/22/2018
Harry will hold Snape to his promise.
excessivelyperky chapter 46 . 3/12/2018
Oh, my, yes, Harry is growing up-and he'll be allowed to do so without being a target or a sacrifice.

Well done.
excessivelyperky chapter 45 . 3/10/2018
"I'm only wearing black till I find something darker"-I saw a t-shirt like that and immediately thought of Snape. Fortunately, Lucius' fashion sense saved the day. As for Poppy, the groom will always enjoy the corset, especially when he gets to take it off.

Poor Albus. But at least he knows that he is loved, whatever happens to the rest of him.

Lovely wedding!
