| fandoholic chapter 36 . 10/9/2018 You know, I've been trying to figure out what your writing style reminded me of and why I liked it so much and I finally figured it out. It's very Buffy-esque. You write the characters the way they'd interact in Buffy. Lots of jokes and buffyisms. Is that a conscious decision? In fact now that I think about it, your Felicity reads to me like how Buffy talks. Or maybe Willow. Or a combination. You using the terms "butt monkey" and "ass face" are making me suspicious. | Guest chapter 45 . 12/3/2017 I wish I could put this comment somewhere else. Because all I really want to do is praise your style and wit. Your writing is so much fun if a little garrulous. I have found myself pulled out of the story multiple times because after the central climax of the story, you continue to push the characters farther away from resolution rather than bring the narrative to a more natural close. As much fun as it is to add angst to a story, after a while it becomes repetitive and even predictable. I have never been one skipping to the end of a story, but here on chapter 45 I'm so very very tempted in an effort to avoid any extra stubborn denials. Felicity becomes the antagonist after the climax and I don't think is serves your story well. Please understand this criticism comes from a drive to help you create more awesome fanfics in a completely self serving need to enjoy your future works. Thank you for spending so much of your time creating entertainment for us fans.. |
