I loved this, I really like how you took your time and nothing felt rushed or insincere. This was my first full fledged fan-fiction reading experience and so far nothing has topped it. I love how you didn't make it unrealistic and like Aang just moved on and never cared about her, I also love how they are all at a much older age, as reading ones about 14 year old girls is kind of creepy. This felt so sweet and true to the characters. I absolutely loved when Zuko freaked about Katara's injury, and the mutual trust shown between the two, earned by tough battles and years of friendship. I am writing this review after my second time reading and am just as in love with it. I think the storyline worked so well and really enjoyed the fact that Zuko and Katara didn't just forget about Aang and the others and disregard their feelings, it felt like a real storyline that i could see actually happening (in my dreams). Thank you for this creation, it has made me feel happiness while sick, twice now, and I am so pleased (I get sick often, and are currently in bed with a fever), Thanks once again for your work, it does not go unnoticed. I bid you adieu, can you tell I haven't really written reviews before, I can.
P.S. I doubt you will read this as it was written many years ago and you are probably in a different walk of life, or swamped constantly with love from others who have enjoyed this as much as I, but I don't mind, for the fleeting chance that this makes you smile.

Thank you! I’m relatively new to the ATLA world, having only watched it in the last few weeks. I fell in love with the series and all the characters (especially Iroh and Xuko) but was crushed when Zuko and Katara did not end up together. So your story was exactly what I’ve been looking for to soothe my Zutara obsession! It was wonderful! I think you nailed the characters and I love your sense of humour. Please keep them coming!

Wow! This was such an amazing story, and a great alternative to the ending of ATLA. I especially liked how you didn't make Aang salty/obnoxious because he wasn't with Katara. A lot of fics I've read make him out to be a f*ckboy, and...meh.
This fic cheered me up duing the pandemic! I've been pretty down, but this helped a lot. Thank you for that. :)

Sokka is hilarious I love him

I thought this was really lovely! Definitely would have potential to be a full Avatar movie. Good plot, good writing, very nice character development (especially for Suki and Aang). Thank you so much for writing it!

If you want any constructive criticism (I'm a writer but my native language is Spanish so I'll only comment on plot/characters) I would say that the collective Zutara 'ship' that's coming from the Gaang from the very beginning might be hurting the story more than helping it. Our favorite lovers could have used a bit more of the 'this love story would be impossible', and that could have been manifested through concerns that the Gaang voiced. For example, Aang could have felt resistant to Zutara because he worried that Katara would not like living in in the fire nation, after all, she did hold a strong grudge against them (Aang would/should also feel the reasons that you wrote in the spirit world scenes). Sokka could have been worried about Zuko and the possibility of him choosing evil/hurting Katara; after all, the only time we see him truly angry in ATLA is when Aang burns Katara in season 2. Sokka could have liked Zuko as a friend but be deeply skeptical of him as K's boyfriend. I think Toph would have been the one to do all of the teasing and it would make sense to have her ship them from the beginning. Suki could have been a mediator (and I wish you'd written out the scene of her teaching Katara about sexual health! So sweet and sisterly!)

I think having Sokka and Suki worry about whether Katara is truly happy with Keiro was a good point. I like that you gave her a toxic nice guy water bending boyfriend.
