Reading the sex scene was a little rough because you clumped paragraphs together where you could have broken them up. Other than that this was a really good chapter and my first time reading sex.

Oof. Spence is so dramatic but like... I’d probably do the same thing. Not saying he’s a coward but I’m a coward and can’t face the people I like after I tell them I like them. Especially if it’s not reciprocated. Stems from my abandonment issues or something, I dunno.

In a previous chapter you said Spence was Pan but now you say he’s bi?

Ahh yes, the old Spence likes more sugar than coffee trope. I love it. I don’t even remember if it’s canon but it’s definitely fanon.

I love Mama Morgan. Like so much.

First off, I can already tell this is gonna be a great chapter because of its title. Second I love the whole capturing someone against a wall. It screams sexual tension.

Find my boy, hell, your boy, Derek.

I’m kinda irritated about the whole “they think I’m asexual” like it’s another word for abstinent or something. Like, I’m asexual but I still date, i just don’t experience sexual attraction. My attractions are purely romantic. But I mean I headcanon him as ace (probably self projecting) so I can’t really complain too much. You’re obviously versed on lgbt subjects so I feel like I’m annoying you with my little snips.

I’m biased cause this is fanfic and I know that somehow Spence and Derek end up together but yeah, tell him Spence!

I’m all for pan Spence but I’m a bit appalled by Josh’s explanation. Pan doesn’t mean attraction to transgender people too. A bi person could be attracted to men and women, both those sides include trans men and trans women. Pan is more the attraction to a person regardless of gender. Male, female, enby, etc.

Ive decided I don’t like Josh. He’s kinda being a prick to Derek.

Aaaand now I feel bad for not liking Josh. I just don’t like the “all knowing prick” attitude he had. I feel like he’s kinda based of JJ? But not really.

Poor Spence. I hate that he feels he has to run away.

A really stiff start, it’s good tho. There’s a few punctuation errors and a whole lot of contraction errors (where you could use a contraction but you don’t) but this is a really good start. I don’t know why I’m looking at this as an editor and not just a reader, normally I’d just assume you’re a non native speaker and carry on despite how rough it reads. I like it, it’s good so far.
