No offense but a “friend” who inserts herself into a relationship the way Katie does is so childish. I get that you needed an opening for them to meet, but I feel like there could’ve been better ways for that to happen. Furthermore the imprints usually are of Native American descent to ensure the werewolf gene is passed down. One could argue “what about Jacob and Nessie?” But there’s seriously no way to describe that weird relationship. Having an OC that is “twins” or siblings to the main protagonist is so played out. Oc should be ORIGINAL! Someone to have his or her own story instead of riding the coattails of the main protagonist. Again this is my opinion as a writer myself but I’m still interested in reading this story and finding out more.

Why not have the sister have blue eyes instead? Why does she gave to be Leahs friend?

I like the story but i do have to point out that the whole imprinting thing is about passing the werewolf gene down. A white girl wouldn't be a logical choice for an imprint because it would actually risk the gene not being passed down to the next generation. At least that's what i think. I hope im not coming of rude but it just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe i haven't read far enough yet but im hoping you can explain.

this story reminds me of another one I read this is original but there's parts where I'm reminded of the other story like when Sam first broke up with Leah and Sam is helping around the swan house and also this beach scene. The other story wasn't between Sam and a Swan but it was between Sam and Jacob's sister. And the scenes I mention just sound very very similar.
