finally, an update! I swear on my love of books, I literally dropped my homework and read this. I LOVED this chapter, it was brilliant! im sorry about any health problems, I hope you are feeling better

Well this was absolutely lovely! I've been having a really stressful day (I move to San Diego tomorrow for University) and your story put a smile on my face when all I wanted to do was focus on my nerves. So thank you for that. :) More specifically, I really liked the adorable and sweet events that took place during the chapter. Castiel's breakfast for Dean was awesome. I love how Dean not only is scared because he's seen how bad a chef Cas can be (the think about Cas's belief that anything is good if its made like a sandwich was hilarious), but he also has endured those awful meals before for the sake of not hurting Cas's feelings, and he's prepared to do so again if necessary. So cute! Of course it was a relief that the meal was actually great. ;) I liked Castiel "winning" at fishing, and Dean's firm belief that Cas had to be "cheating" somehow. He theories of how were super fun, especially the notion that perhaps Cas put "fish repellent" on his fishing hook. lol But obviously the best part of this chapter was everything that happened during their time at the special island. Dean's patience with Cas while the latter adjusted to swimming was perfect (I can imagine Dean would be patient about such a situation, so it seemed very believable). Then Dean's way of getting Cas to pay attention to him made me crack up. So great that the deep thought of Cas's which Dean interrupted so harshly, was one about how great Cas thought Dean was. Until... Not as much. lol But Dean sure made up for it, didn't he? That message under the water was a great gesture. It's really great that Dean recognizes how bad he is at saying "I love you", and uses actions to speak louder than words. (Except these actions MADE words, but you know what I mean. lol) Anyway, great chapter! I was so happy to see you'd updated this again, it brightened my day, and I look forward to what remains of the story! :)

Aww! It is great to see you posting in this story again! As summer approached and it got painfully hot out where I'm at, I started to wonder if the weather was warming up for you too, and if you'd post here. So glad you did! :) Anyway, I really liked this chapter because you stayed true to the trend in Winchester life... That trend being that weird stuff basically just gravitates towards them. Of /course/ Dean and Castiel would go on a harmless hike around Oahu and end up running into a freaking goddess of volcanoes! That's just how life works for them. lol I also thought it was great that, instead of being angry with Dena for showing disrespect, Pele was impressed by Dean's bravery and wanted to honor him for it. It was also really neat that Pele had heard stories of the Winchesters' accomplishments during the apocalypse and wanted to thank Dean for his dedication to stopping it. That was pretty darn awesome. Ok, there was something more awesome than just her gratitude, and that was the gift she gave him. I LOVE that now Dean can protect himself and his family from the threat of fire. After everything fire has done to him, Sam, etc... It means everything to Dean to be able to stop fearing the effects of flames of his loved ones. Great touch! And really, great chapter! Here's to many more! :D

Wow, it's easy to forget how old Castiel really is and how much he has seen. Loving the story.

Hahahaha omg this was so cute! I loved how curious Cas is and Dean taking pics for him. I can totally imagine them like that. Oh, and the goddess was great. Their encounter was amusing. And I loved her gift. They better cherish it. And the ending? Hehehehe. Loved it :D Yep, the gods indeed have a sense of humor ;)

This was cute! I liked how easy it was for Dean to explain how to take care of Sam. Then he justified the knowledge to Gabriel with: "We've lived in the same room with each other for most of the last three decades, Gabe." and for some reason I had to chuckle. No wonder Sam and Dean are always so in sync with one another! They definitely know each other better than anyone else. Also, Dean's advice to Gabe about holding Sam's hair back amused me quite a lot, as did Castiel's internal "DOES NOT COMPUTE" reaction to Dean drowsily telling him Sam had 'morning sickness'. Great job with this fluff! :)
