I love this. It makes my heart hurt in the worst and best of ways. You can feel Lin's loss acutely when Pema and her children come rushing in. It felt as though someone had truly snatched a safety blanket from a child-for Lin, despite her hard exterior, seems to maintain an almost child-like emotional state throughout much of the series. She is, in many ways, still that little girl who wanted and needed Tenzin to be her anchor. And yet, this family of airbenders has more "right" to him, despite their shared history, despite the love that still exists between them. He "isn't hers to lose," and yet the loss is no less profound. Brilliant work.

Oh my goodness! I loved this story it was sooooo well written, this story doesn't need to be multi-chartered or anything but keep these types of stories up! They are beautiful! .

Wow. This is real and deep and wonderful. I already couldn't wait to see how Lin reacts when she sees what the Red Lotus did to Tenzin. Great job on this.

Oh god my heart! We can only hope that we get a scene similar to this, but even if we don't I'm still gonna consider this canon because I can and it's perfect.
