Seriously this series is so well written it’s just wow. The whole things is so well thought out and I just love it.

There were a lot of conflicting pronoun usage when it came to doctor Henderson. are they a woman or are they a man? The story itself is amazing, but really, there are a lot of random mistakes like using "him" and later "she" to refer to the same person or using "became" in place of "began"

Ah it can’t be that easy though. No way that’s the end of Kovarian I mean that was barely anything.

Ehhhh I hope this comes up again and we get to see a more action packed side of this when it’s our Rose’s turn to be Older Rose.

Never loved the Trenzalore stuff but a Good Man Goes to War was awesome and I hope this is just a glimpse of what’s to come.

Hi! First off, love this series! It’s a really interesting alternate take on Rose’s life. I don’t know how many of your stories are inspired by actual Doctor Who stories (I know some come from DW and SJA), but I’m quite impressed by your variety and sense of adventure. If many of these plots are your own ideas, then it sounds like you should be a show writer. Very plausible to the DW universe, and they have a perfect pace, reading just like TV episodes.
Now, I’m an Aussie, so I thought I’d give you a few insider tips that, should you ever decide to rewrite this particular adventure, might help it flow more naturally. I hope you’ll accept a little constructive criticism? I love the premise and am very proud my country made it into your story! I’m just nit-picking because I love love love this story so much.
1. You wouldn’t have a stopover in Adelaide if you’re going from London to Alice Springs. Singapore yes. Then probably Sydney or Perth, before finally The Alice. Adelaide would mean traveling back on yourself. It is possible to fly London-Singapore-Melbourne-Adelaide-Alice Springs if you’re a crazy person lol. Side question, why did Rose lament China? I don’t understand the connection. Do you mean she wishes she’d stopped over in China instead of Singapore? That wasn’t clear.
2. A more appropriate answer to Rose’s plane question would be ‘All plains to Ayers Rock Airport are grounded because of what’s going on. Besides, nobody flies for only a 6 hour drive!’ And it’s true, nobody does. Our country is huge. It would never occur to most of us to fly from The Alice to Yulara. That airport is probably used by fly-in-fly-out workers and tourists. In fact, I didn’t know there was an airport so close to Yulara. I had to check lol.
3. You said Rose saw stretches of dusty brown land. It should be red, not brown. It actually is red earth.
4. It’s just ‘Uluru’, not the ‘Uluru Stone.’ Uluru is a big rock, but the word ‘Stone’ is not part of it’s name. Also, we don’t say Ayers Rock anymore either. When referring to Uluru, we do sometimes just call it ‘the Rock’ too.
5. You said SOME Indigenous Australians don’t like people climbing the rock. This is incorrect. NOBODY likes people climbing the rock. Climbing it is offensive and upsetting to the local people and their beliefs, and there’s a fair bit of outrage that it’s taken so long to ban it (it is banned now I believe... but I could be wrong).
6. Indigenous Australians (and sometimes Aboriginal), rather than Aborigines. Like Americans now say Native Americans, not Indians. Though they often call themselves Aborigines.
7. I noticed you were trying to figure out how to explain the Dreaming. The easiest way to describe it is that it’s a creation myth, much like God making everything in 7 days, or in fact the Guardians creating the universe. All cultures around the world have different creation myths. The most significant Dreamtime figure is the Rainbow Serpent, who is responsible for Australia’s undulating landscapes, animals etc. The Dreamtime or Dreaming is a collection of stories from the ‘time before’ that tells people how to behave, much like the Bible (verbal, of course, not written), and varies from place to place, much like folk tales. There’s no handbook like there is for Christianity and other modern religions. I say modern because Aboriginal culture is over 60,000 years old, though some people debate that it’s up to 200,000 years old. Indigenous Australians believe that we do not own the land, but are it’s caretakers, hence why it was so easy for Europeans to take over. When colonists asked ‘Do you own this bit of land?’ the aboriginal would reply ‘of course not!’

Anyway, sorry for the long winded notes. I hope they’re helpful and taken in good faith. I’m a teacher so I can’t help myself sometimes lol. I truly love your story and am looking forward to reading on.

Still enjoying, though I did get a little tired of the repeated altered mindset, dreamscape, type adventures and skim those a bit. Moving on to the next story!

I absolutely adore how you rewrote the Father's Day episode to fit more in line with your Rose. You captured the heartwrenching essence of that episode while weaving the plot in a way that fits with who your Rose is. Thank you for taking me on this journey.

Holy crap this series is dangerous. I've gotten to this point in about two weeks. Love it love it love it, Rose is brilliant and it's so satisfying to have her turned up to 11.
